Black dogs from where?

where a hell all this black dogs came from? if we go back to Dibo there wernt so many black dogs and sudenly almost all the boudreaux blood is black....the eli line didnt came from black dogs but like magic all they are black (almost)...

Somewhere i read something about henrrys dogs and tudors geting some to his yard as if they were off Dibo...

Anybody know some old history about that??

is just for knowledge..that nothing have to do with our present dogs but history is important...

 

did you see floyds dogs in the 50,60,70's. how many days did you spend there to see how " sudan" they changed? eli best litter was through a brown/white bitch. so there's a lot more color to that stuff other then black.

 

i know there are more colors...obvious ...but most are black and that change in some point in history

When Dibo was bred to Red Lady (both red dogs) it produced Jeff who was bred to Baby (one red and one chocolate) which produced Nigger who was black. Should we assume that Niggers papers are hung as well being that he is from a primarily non black foundation?

Well all I can say is I own a red/rednose that came off two black black nose dogs.... So my papers are probably hung huh???

 

No it simply means that both parents carry a recessive gene for that color

Maybe over the year the black Eli dogs proved to be better than there siblings and hence were bred more and hence produced more black percentage wise.... Idk jus my .02

NOPE these dogs went from all colors to a strain of 90% black dogs almost over night.

 

If you get a litter with some black dogs off of red dogs and then breed the black to black for a few generations odds are you will get majority black dogs, if you breed the black dogs back to the red side of the family you will end up with majority red dogs. This isn't rocket science, look behind Blind Billy and tell me what you see, are their red dogs and black dogs behind him? What color were Dibo's sire and dam? I'm not going to do your homework for you so go look for yourself and see what you find.
