Trade for a slatmill? Come on the book can't be worth that much. Seriously how much cash you want for it. I can't see paying more than a hundred for a used book. I know my $20 dollar offer was an insult but I thought you'd hit me back with a price you wanted for it then we could negotiate from there. So how much do you want for it other than crenshaws book and the slatmill if I were to give you cash. I'm looking for crenshaws book and a new slatmill myself so can't help you out with that.

For what it's worth this is not just some "used book". It is out of print and isn't coming back. It is TRULY a collectors piece. Just like everything else in this life it is worth what someone is willing to pay you for it. The value will only go up on this book the older it gets that is a fact. I have two copies and planned on keeping both but I have a little construction project going on right now and I need to come up with around $1000 to finish it up. Obviously I am not trying to get $1000 for the book :-) Like I said make an offer and I'll consider it.

Yea you're right. I sent you a pm yesterday but it must of not sent cause its not in my out box. They're are ebay for that much but none of them have any bids on em. I'll offer $50.00. So if you or anyone else wants to sell one for around $50 please contact me. That's great tho if you can sell yours for 3-4 hundred bucks. More power to ya i just have so many other expenses with these dogs I can't be wasting that kind of money on a book

That book is worth 200$$.at least!!!. colecters items are worth money. valiuew is detirmend on how ecsclusif it and the importense of the info in it. i have seen more ecsclusif books with way less info and volume go for 300 and up. The bobby hall book is one of them.... The compleat game dogs is a must for every studend of the breed ....

 

I'd definately like to have it soon but don't think I can spend 2 -300 on a book right now with all the other expenses I have With these dogs. Would like to get a nice library together though just have to do it a little at a time. So far i have Sdj 2011 volume 1. Let me ask you this to those that know. What would you rather have and what do you think has more good information in it. Spend $300 on the complete gamedog or spend $300 worth of those SDJ yearbooks. You can pretty much get all of em for $300 compared to one book.

 

Which do you consider more important...stories about dogs or caring for your dogs?

 

The latter is obviously the most important. The statement however is an "either or " fallacy. One may actually use this book as a tool to become better caretakers of dogs and Dog Men !! In my honest opinion the Pit Bull Bible and The Complete Gamedog are the two most important books to have if you own the APBT. For greenhorns and seasoned veterans alike

 

I bought the book new with signature back in 2008 for $65.00 and if you think its worth a good slat mill that is hilarious. I wouldn't sell my copy as I only have one, but some people do pay big bucks for this book.
