***I NEED YOUR OPINION *** 15 week pitbull x mastiff

Discussion in 'Photography, Artwork & Videos' started by BrixtonthePit, Sep 20, 2014.

  1. Hey pit lovers,
I'm just looking for some feeback/opinions on my 15 week old Red Nose Brixton!
his dad was some sort of mastiff, and his mom was Purebred Red nose, all i can see as far as I know is Pitbull, I'll show some pics as well. The vet even thought he was purebred when we brought him in for shots, and I'm also wondering if he would be stud grade cuz hes quite the majestic dog thats for sure! and If he'll look purebred when hes older!

    It's a bandog not a pitbull if it's crossed with a mastiff.

Breeding your pup should be the last thought on your mind. Regardless of how it looks it is a mixed breed dog. The world is full of dogs no one wants already, why contribute to the problem? Get it fixed, love it and enjoy it as the pet it will become. Welcome to the site.

P.s. No such thing as a pure bred rednose ( you'll get harrasses by the members for that one ) Red nose is just used to describe the color of a dogs nose not its bloodline. The site has plenty for you to read up on. The search feature is in the top right hand side of your screen if you want to look up specific things like bloodlines, diets, excersize etc.

    Good luck with your pup...

AGK, you clearly not speaking his language, it's going to be 150 lbs with at least a 30" head.

Are you delusional? It seems you want to convince your self that your dog is pure bred APBT when you yourself know for a fact that its a MIXED bred dog.

With that said you can do what ever you like as its your dog, you dont really need our opinion as it seems like you have already convinced your self of your dog worthiness or reason to be bred, being MAJESTIC and all LOL.

It's clear that you really love your puppy. That's good but you got bamboozled by people who are delusional. There is no pure "red nose". There are many types of mastiffs. You have a mix. Enjoy your dog and love it but don't go breeding it and claiming that your dog is anything but the facts which you can prove and demonstrate.

A Bandog is a denomination given to a proven working bull and mastiff cross. This sounds like it is a designer breed.

Spot on. Bandogs are supposed to be at the very least serious man stoppers.

Thank you davidfitness83 I didn't know that. Just thought that was what that cross was called.

Most people do it this way because a mastiff bitch is better suited to birthing chunky bandogs than a smaller pit dog bitch.
