    Pulling on a springpole aint "work". Its what novices let their dogs do. Be glad it has no interest in it.

    Really I would think that the motion of pulling on a spring pole would work the neck wind and jaws of a hound would u say I'm correct or incorrect?

    That's funny I remember seeing many examples of seasoned dogman using them...I was just watching a video the other day where FB is working ch john wayne and I believe taz on one with a hide but I guess hes a novice lol

    This method has always worked for me: Get another dog that works the springpole well and tie up your dog so it can watch the experienced dog it will make her go crazy and she'll want to do it.
