Can you come and feed my dog please

 

chicken thighs and drums, gizzards and canidea

 

Just a generic meal. Chicken quarter, country style pork rib, egg, mackerel, beef liver and some lard. The cilantro serves no real purpose other than I hate throwing out scraps and don't have chickens yet... I heard its supposed to be beneficial in some ways if pureed etc but it probably doesn't do much whole

I am weary of the pork some can carry Trich.

The trich parasite has been pretty much eradicated from the domesticated pork population for a long time now in America, wild pork you still should freeze for 3-4weeks to kill it but this is from a grocery store so I'm not worried much

Ehhh ik world remount hunters that have caught trich... freezing DOES NOT always kill trich... source "jre"(joe rogan experience with cameron Haynes and steve renellila (sp) "meat eater")

 

Depending on where the animal is there are freeze resistant strains...

That's fine. Its one of those meats you don't have to feed if you don't feel comfortable with it. I feel that store bought pork is perfectly safe, others might not and that's fine. So long as the dog is getting variety it doesn't really matter terribly much if you feed pork or not.

I don't feed raw(pray to change that with the help of a hoyt) but I'd be careful bout certain game

 

As far as wild game the fare will probably be the generic deer, rabbit, squirrel etc no hogs where I'm at

In my current area yes (Deer, no pig or bear) buy not everyone lives where we do so i pointed out wild hog and bear even when frozen may carry the parasites

I'm with you Pook, i feel pork sold for human consumption is safe and i've never had issues thus far. I'm a city dweller so i never come across roadkill or any nice scores of meat unfortunately unless it's from a hunter on CL. Still trying to get processors to work with me.

Yep store bought pork is a great and usually cheaper red meat to get since beef prices seem to keep rising.
If you aren't comfortable with wild hog or bear don't feed it. I do however know a bulldogger that feeds exclusively wild hog to his dogs so... To each their own.
