After much thought, and not enough local shows, I decided I would like to start an ADBA club for the central Florida area. To start a sanctioned club, there has to be atleast 30 members. I am looking to be of use to the Ocala, Leesburg, Orlando, Brooksville, Bushnell areas. These are all within an hour of the Sumter County fairgrounds in Bushnell, Fl. Anyone interested, please feel free to contact me by pm or e-mail.

It is a great idea but there is already three sanctioned clubs in FL. The Sunshine State club, who is in Central Florida, the Mid-Florida Club, and I'm drawing a blank on the last FL club.

There are 3 sanctioned shows a year in FL plus the SunShine State Club holds fun shows monthly I believe.

The third one is Tampa Bay APBT Club. I am well aware of these clubs, and they are all great. Unfortunatley, the fun shows are quite a distance from my area (if I remember correctly) and I know it is difficult for a lot of people to leave the state for a show. My thoughts were for another club to support those who would love to show more, but may not have the means for traveling all over the US. Also, as far as I know, any one club can hold up to four sanctioned shows a year...

I'm just looking for something positive for myself and others interested to have fun with. Hopefully it can work, if not, owell. No harm done.
