RIP Brian Bailey. Did he still have dogs when he died? I know he had nice dogs.

Yes he still had dogs and wanted to have even more. Last I knew he had some issues in TX with having possession of dogs, so he was looking to move. He sold some and others went to people he trusted. Now that he has passed, calls have been made trying to keep the circle of people who have his blood connected and maybe preserve his work. He passed in Mississippi, probably after moving so he could have more dogs... R.I.P

 

Rest in peace my friend.

 

Rip BB. He was a good guy, I remember a few phone convos we had. Hope people will preserve his work.

Damn. It seems his work got cut short along with his life. I do hope the dogs get into the hands of good people.

 

I believe BBs work was accomplished when he purchased Bingo from the Carolina kitten Ms.Marlowe and introduced the midwest to the redboy dogs...
Later WCC followed suit and did the same and purchased Bingos son Deacon from the Caroilina kitten and took him back to resinate in cheese country...
Like others I got Deacon feaver and WCC introduced me to BB, in which a group of friends ended up with a group of BB dogs and he seemed fair in his dealings...
BB told me that WCC wasnt even from the windy city and might have lived thier for a brief time, and BB was the man behind WCC, learning his character I am sure he stretched his stories a bit, but they were deffinatly entertaining...
I remember BB saying he was from Chicago and he got in a bind and was gonna serve some time, WCC helped him with his dogs but didnt want to purchase Bingo for what BB was asking and WCC got the great Deacon instead of his sire for a fraction of the price...
If the game has taught us anything is that with the high prices come shadey characters, and the music blew into the windy city and traded his little red corvette
for Bingo and some others that were bred similar, while WCC kept the some to breed to Deacon...
So if the storey is true, BB also prepeled Music City ahead and in return when he got out, he got out his lil red corvette and went to music city to retrieve some of his Bingo stock... BB took them to a friends in Texas and put a m.home at his place, in return he helped his friend aquire the Heavy D dog off Deacon...
They bred the Bingo Redboy stock tight and had better success outcrossing it to alot of different blood looking for the right cross which seemed endless...
I hadnt talked with him for over fifteen years and lost track of him...
BB started a transporter buisness and did alright until one thing lead to another and he was back in trouble and I am not sure what happened in TX with him...
My friend Dirty had a great dog bred down from Gene Thurmonds Midnight Cowboy blood, this bulldog had won on both coast in nc and ca in the hands of two navy vets that searved together...
BB helped them bulldog like old times when they were stationed together and having the united states inbeteween them didnt seem so far...
Well BB seen this dog go from ca to nc and win won, and back to ca for another... the dog was again hooked in nc and BB took almost three monthes transporting the dog causing a forfiet instead of a chance for a champioship... They tried to breed the dog multiple times and he was too crazy...
When Dirty got him back to nc, he wasnt in the best of shape and all of sudden he wanted to breed to everything... The dogs gameness and ability ware as valued as his blood so became a stud dog... Dirty claimed BB to breeding to him on his three month adventure, Dirty said a couple years later that coast to coast black dogs surrounding BBs trail were dominating,hmmm... I dont know who stole whos thunder in this bulldog tale, but I do miss thier Tales...
If it wasnt for Brian Bailey, alot of us would be bulldoging differently, THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTRUBUTION AND REST IN PEACE MR.BAILEY...

R.I.P.Another legend.. without this mans work, one of my dogs would not be here as well as many other folks dogs.

 

Brian Bailey was a piece of shit and deserved what he got. He put a lot of good people in prison trying to get out of trouble from his own dirty shit selling dope not only in Illinois but in Texas as well. Only decent dog he ever had was Inca a Boudreaux Carver bred female and a 4x winner that lost at 6 due to his incompetence as a conditioner into Rebel Kennels Blondie. Which was owned at the time by another snitching piece of shit Ricky Jones of Rebel kennels. Bingo and his progeny as a whole couldn’t bust a grape and weren’t fit to be classified in the same group as Eli JR, Art, Cowboy, ect.. and others that had Boudreaux blood in them. How do I know... cuz I’m one of the ones Brian put in prison for over a decade and was there when he first got Bingo and watched him quit

 

I would like to find out the truth here. I am picking up a pup that is 25% Bailey. I am curious specifically about the dogs. Everything I have heard regarding Bingo's progeny is that they were great dogs especially the WCC dogs specifically Deacon.

Furthermore, Bamaman has always been a straight shooter in my book

On the other hand, why would Ken Ferguson lie about Ben Bailey? I believe him when he says Bailey sent him jail, a story that could be easily confirmed.

Finally, I don't know who to trust. Dogmen today are 100% different from the men I met 25 years ago when I got my first dog.

 

Bingo produced Crypt and a number of other hard biters even though Red Boy dogs are not known for mouth. There is still a pretty significant influence of Bailey dogs here in Texas.
