i been a little mia lately, figured i'd update. I am recovering from a recent spinal surgery. I had 2 severely herniated, protruding discs in my neck with a rouge bone spur. They cut through the front of my neck, removed the damaged discs, replaced with bone grafts, and fused the levels together with a titanium plate and 6 screws. So i'm all boinic now, but i'm healing up perfectly and finally almost pain free. In addition to my issues, Beatrix had a complete ACL tear and had a TPLO procedure done. We got a ways to go before we are ready to get back to work, but damn does it feel good to be on the road to recovery, when it rains it pours.

thank you, it was really scary. I lost a lot of use of my left arm, had severe pain radiating all the way from my neck, down my shoulder and all the way into my forearm and my entire left hand was numb. Was on narcotics for almost 2 months before my procedure. Misspent youth riding motorcycles finally caught up to me.

Hope we can meet some day and compare "war stories" and scars. Only two rules :
    1. Never steal your dog's pain medication.
    2. "Drugs will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times of no drugs." (Fabulous Freak Brothers)

So,Now I owe you an apology for my remarks about drugs after your thoughtless comment about a picture of "retarded Kids" got me angry. Seems like the pot calling the kettle black (and no - that wasn't a racial remark.) You need to learn how to take a joke !!! I've had a drug problem and beat it - twice! Might Owe somebody --- not hardly! You want an apology - you r gonna have a long wait !!! I think your just trying to make me look bad because you got called out on a bad decision you made on a post - TFB - It ain't happening!

I'm with Goat on this one drug addictions can be beat, younjustbhabe to want to do it. I've tried a lot if stuff in my day and a lot stuff "that people get hooked on the first try" and none of them became an addiction unless I choose to indulge I didn't do it. Beating drugs is just having the will power to do so
