A sad day indeed

My Father passed away in April, his insurance expired the month before. My Mother who is retired many years and in poor health has moved in with me. Today I sell the last of what was a small but quality yard of dogs. I didn't make a lot but enough to payoff the funeral home and get a headstone. After today this will be the first time I have been dogless in well over 10 years.

 

Sorry to hear man. You did right though, Fam has to come before the dogs. That definitely is some terrible news. Hope things start looking up for you.

 

This is a rough time for you and your family, you did the honorable thing by being there for you mom and family. Dogs come and go, give it some time and before you know it you'll be feeding and picking up after a whole new yard of dogs. I always say a good man does not go unnoticed.

Sounds like you made a hard decision that should make you mom proud taking care of the cost and all and equally your pops proud of you taking care of your mother,
an action that I respect, the best type of dogman is a family man as they have something to go home to... Bulldogs come and go and I believe in every action there is a reaction and something good will come back to you like...

Thank you to all for the kind words and well wishes. Guess I just needed to vent. I still have my house dog a Watchdog/Colby cross but all my working stock are gone now. Time to dust off and begin again....

 

why don't you kept one(bitch) from your working stuf ....
