This is the kind of thinking that keeps small time, small time. You see it a lot in people who have bulldogs because most are not big picture and have too much ego. It takes a team to be truly successful. Once people realize it's not an attack on their manhood todo what's best for an animal they'll jump levels.

  5. As being a "Dogman" is slang term used by many ppl that have various breeds of dogs. So hense you all are wrong and the actual meaning of the word is lost in this uneducated group of Who knows what. https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/dogman

  6. BTW if you think only APBT owners refer to Gameness, Dogman, and other terms APBT people think are their own, then you should get out and experience more things in life

With that kind of thinking you are. Might make it big on the chitlin circuit but that's still small time imo.

Naustroms I've never played this game in the backyard my friend apparently you do. I was brought up in the game by some of the best to ever do it and I've always played in the fast lane and I've won way more than I've ever lost. your opinion is just your opinion and mine is my opinion so if you don't agree just don't agree. However don't make assumptions about me when you don't know who is on the other end of this computer.

This is a great post. People jump all over peddlers. Peddlers are only a snatch hair away from the honest guy who sells a dog here and there. Bottom line they both sell dogs. If no one sold dogs, only bred on their own yard and kept everything private the dogs would have dies out over a hundred years ago.

It takes all kinds. Some people breed. Some people sell. Some people do'em. Some people combine two of the three or all three.

Remove any of the three completely and the wheel will come to a complete stop.

What about when a person takes some time off? Does he turn in his dog man card and then re-apply to 'all things bulldog' for a renewal?

I would like to think I am not a dog man or referred to as a dog man but....maybe I am. But I tool some time off. Gave away about 12-14 dogs. Kept five in case I changed my mind or the circumstances changes. For two years I raked as much shit as five dogs can produce. Up the quality of food. Re-tooled how I thought a mill and work for a dog should go. In those two years I did not ride up and down the road like I did the previous ten.

If I lost my dog man membership that would be a good thing.

Fastlane :- in southern africa where we drive on the left hand side of the road it will be the right hand lane where you have more than one lane in the same direction.
In dogs is it the lane indicativs of money spent on a race or the quality inthe race?

I have heard more than once , people refer to other breeds as Game. Are they wrong ? No , I dont think so.What I think is each indavidual has his or her own defanition of the word Game.Very subjective word which has already been stated.I for one will not sit around and argue with a man that calls his Patts, Jack Russells, Jagds game.He can call them as he chooses .I think some men and ladies needed a deeper understanding and meaning of the word Game.IMO this what seperates Bulldog owners from the rest.jm2cents.

Depends who you ask. For some, fastlane is a fancy word for "country club". Need at least $5k-100k to compete with those people. For others, it means a specific bloodline and/or kennel that is constantly winning into other high-quality dogs/kennels. Croata dogs would be considered fastlane because of their consistent win-rate; Colby, not so much.
