  3. It would have to be some bird.....but a bird the dose it is skilled indeed..not sure on wild birds doing it???...even so,the training of such a bird must be a difficult and lengthy prosses.....
While we're on this subject, have you seen the methods used by the Arabs to course Gazelle???..not sure what birds they use?.but they fly the bird at the Gazelle(after a rigours training programme, buy training the bird to take meat stuffed into the eye sockets of dead gazelle being pulled on the back of a donky)and the bird attacks the Gazellels eyes, confusing this fastest deer allowing for a chance of a slip of a Saluki or pair of Salukis to be coursed at the beast....a awesome man, dog, and bird partnership or what?!

  4. I agree about the slaughter houses..and I could imagine the genuine Cockman to keep his Chickens in a well better state then any slaughter house would..crueler to raise them to just butcher them all for the greedy public, rather then to fight them I think.(but my opinions would be considered mad by the public)...in a slaughterhouse millions are killed.and they all no full well there fate.(I think)..it's been proved(more then once)KFCs establishments are nothing more then a diseased filled death camp...

The powers at be may say cock fighting is animal cruelty and that why its not allowed but I would bet it has more to do with illegal gambling than the well being of a damn rooster.

We have Hawks out here in the country that have been known to swoop down and actually snatch up an average sized chicken...

I'm the State of South Carolina, 1st offense chicken fighting is a misdemeanor, which is a ticket more less. And in many people's opinion especially the older folks that's absurd. Meaning it' should not be at all.. 20190409_232435.png

In France Cock fighting is strangely still more or less allowed. It has been a huge tradition in a part of the country for a long time and there is still a few official "pit" ("Gallodrome" is the real name) where people can fight their gamefowls as far as I know, but it won't last long. It is forbidden to open some new "Gallodrome" in the country and the new generation don't find interrest in it so I think than in less than a decade you won't here anything more about cock fighting in France Mainland.

Gamecocks are beautiful and I would keep a few were it not for the sound effects.

I only wish cockfighting weren't always fatal to one of the birds.

    Does anyone eat gamecock meat?

If the birds are eaten after the match then I have no objection. A cockfight is more ethical than dunking not-fully-dead birds into a scalding vat.

That would be okay by me if neither bird dies. I would go to a legal bird fight in which neither bird had to die, because they are exciting to watch. Besides, cockfighting is natural to all galliform species cocks.

Lol. Watch a video of. A real asil or oriental against a american the american wont go very long but on the other hand if they were gaffed the oppisite would be said i based my opionion on the amount of time their game is played vs american birds each bird is gamer at their specific type of game. Put a american in postivas the bird bred. For postivas will come out on top same would be said for trying to short gaff a long knife bird. Plus the bodys have changed for their game also l.k birds look longer legged gaff birds are shaped more like footballs like the shape difference between a butcher and a sweater
