:)) Joking aside, the dog greatly resembles an English Bull Terrier, at least some bulldog kin. I'd have thought bull breeds would be too tough and chewy to eat.

Canadians don't eat seal. Maybe some Eskimo on the north pole. I got a kick out of that comment.

I looked into it I guess its a Newfie thing. Newfie's live in Newfoundland it's a island on Canada's east coast. They were not part of Canada until 1949 before that they were British. They have a totally different accent than us they sound close to Irish some I can hardly understand if at all similar to Irish travelers I
would say. I have worked with lots of them over the years they use to come out here to work in the oil patch most went back since work has slowed down. Fun easy going types like to have a good time. I have never heard any of them talk about these pie's either so it must be a rare thing. I know one thing though they love salt pork and beef. When they hunt moose they jar all there meat.

I really, really, REALLY want to try pickled moose nose and ear. One of my family made awesome hog head cheese from the ears and snout. I can easily substitute moose cartilage for the pork, since I became grossed out by swine after finding out about their dietary habits.

They are hard to understand once you work with them for a bit you understand them. Only Newfoundlander's sound like that and the younger one's accent is not as thick as that. I don't sound like that at all I sound like a Alberta redneck you know EH.

    C. What the hell was that dude saying?
The chick's accent would be at home in a few New England states. Shark meat is GROSS, at least thresher shark is.

Basically saying when he first saw the shark and what he thinks happened to it plus what does he think should have been done. Looks like a place I could go and live happy lol only that I’m not much of a fisherman and not sure how the hunting is over there.
