    Forever-So REAL Quintuple Grand Champion

This page can not go without mentioning ex. Grand Champion Zinc of the Red Boy Jocko dogs. This dog definitely deserves to be mentioned and remembered. And I will be the first to speak of this 1980's game one, and the house dog of the Fisher Family...
The late Richard Fisher's ex Grand Champion Zinc 6xW 1xLG and a great dog in his own right. He was a deadly stifle gut dog and had a hard bite to add. While he was an intelligent all around dog, his signature style was the stifle-gut. And anyone who has owned a Red Boy-Jocko dog would understand this concept. Many of them love the stifle area. This dog was literally family with the Fishers. I am sure Vicki Fisher could hopefully come and share some more about Zinc. He was one of the great dogs of the Red Boy Jocko dogs in the early years.
The great, bad Fisher's [ex. Grand Champion] Champion Zinc, also known as Zincer 6xW 1xLG. His Sire Tant's Roho POR and Dam Chavis Jolene, who's Sire is the phenomenal Grand Champion Yellow 6xW ROM. He was an exceptional example of the Red Boy-Jocko dogs and very well bred for the purpose he was created. He was an extremely game serious intense all around intelligent dog with ability and talent to match. Zinc favorite hold was the gut-stifle region, which he killed his opponents with that devastating gut style many of these dogs are famously known to inherit.
The late *Richard "Red" Fisher raised and campaigned Zinc, and he was later purchased by the late Ken Allen for a large sum. Whom Zinc would go into Rebel Kennels Champion Sampson 4xW 4xBIS for his 7th match in 1989. Both dogs fought hard and strong. It was a good match between two of the best in that weight. What's interesting about this match is Zinc was winning, getting into Sampson's stifles placing him on the defense. Both dogs swapped holds and Zinc however begins to slowly fade, nevertheless, still never stopped applying pressure and always staying in hold somewhere. Sampson starts working over Zinc front end, and Zinc is a down dog in hold. He is picked up at the hour mark and makes a very game courtesy scratch. He later dies due to not receiving the proper medical attention necessary. A great dog passed away, gone forever. Champion Zinc deserved better. So I salute this particular flag bearer of the Fisher dogs, and Red Boy/Jocko dogs in specific.
    Thank Bob Johnson
