Pitted at 9PM and nearly 4 hours later it is over. One was younger, with more skill, more bottom end and much more desire to get to the finish line. The other was older, more mature, overall lesser equipped, basically out classed in size and power but still wily in his old age. It was back and forth most of the night with each taking turns out front with the other pulling himself from the hole and re-taking the lead. Basically a near 4 hour swap fest. Quite impressed by both camps.

In the end I threw in the towel. We were beat down and tired and just had nothing more to give. I picked up. We shook hands, showed respect and agreed I needed some upgrades in my program.

My Can-Am 800R DPS did all I could make her do but the Can-Am 1000X w/ turbo finished up front. I have a lift kit and a shorter wheel base so I ate him up in the mud and in and out of tight turns. He walked away form me on open trails and straightaways. The biggest advantage is he is 25 and I am 52. He will sleep all day tomorrow and I have shit to do.

I bet at least one of you fuckers thought I was talking about something illegal........

Watching it now. I didn’t think Fury would get up from that knockdown earlier. This definitely a brains and brain fight.

Deonte is same as a backend dog that if it can't get to his spot might as well start reaching for your wallet.

I enjoyed the fight too. Yeah Deonte does tend to be a 'one-trick pony' (and a damn good at it too) nearly pulling it off in round 4. Fortunately for Tyson he took it right on the forehead minimizing his brain rocking around as much. (Without a doubt the expectation watching heavy hitters let fly, puts you on the edge of your seat not wanting to miss what their opponent did...lol). I would of like to of seen the referee at least start a final count but I guess that's going to be part of the soap opera to come on the interweb and spacebook. Great fight and looking forward to Canelo vs Plant.

My buddy made a similar comparison. He used the term 'front running cur'.

I would not go 'cur' as he kept getting up and that is all anyone can really ask.

But I agree, once he can't get what he wants from there he is exposed.

It was the best heavyweight fight I have seen in a very long time. Wilder lacks boxing skill but has a right hand like Max Baer and my hats off to him he never gave up and went out on his back he had some good moments and kept Fury knowing he was in a fight. Fury boxes well for a huge man and has many tricks. It was a back and forth fight we all got our moneys worth. I am a huge boxing fan and watch almost every fight but this is the kind of fight boxing needs to turn the casual viewer into a boxing fan.

    Agreed.

Wilder with a skill set would be hard to handle.
