I enjoyed your story with him @slim12. In past I have send one dog to Tri Valley Kennel. Never ever spoke about money with Mr Russ. After so many years when i spoke him, he was still trying to get pups from her. He was that happy with her and he didn’t give up on her. He received some ff and never ever got chance to show her. There are some more story’s like this. Also sended in past a young dog to Novo Selo Beli great old dogman from Balkan Game Dog history. He called, He asked and we just sended. Dog became very famous over there. Thanks to Viktor Valhalla for arranging the transport back in the time..

 

Crazy he died on the mill after all those matches.

 

In terms of the Black Man, I have this to say: BLM, Colin Kaepernick and Brittney Griner can all rot in a Russian Gulag, however I have always had positive experiences with black people when it comes to this breed. The scumbags I have encountered where white.

 

Interestingly, we see the same phenomena in humans, especially in bodybuilding. It is not just the steroids, the whole contest prep is absolutely destructive to the body. I have massive joint problems, not just counting organ damage. MMA is bad too. Boxing may be the worst, my old coach was retarded at 40.

 

I mean I've been the loan white cat at a BBQ multiple times. The "white boy" shit generally got checked quickly by either me or who I was with. Besides that we all talked shit and had a good time. I've found if you present yourself as a man and everyone acts accordingly it's a good time.

I've always liked bak because he never saw his skin color as a cop out. He did his thing, went where he went, hung with who he did and was successful. We're all in the same boat paddling the same way. Pretty pussy to have an automatic cop out that if anyone argues they're the scum of the earth.....

 

Good post. When I say scum I am not talking about arguing. There is a HUGE difference between crabby and scummy. I am talking about integrity. I am crabby. You are crabby, LOL, but I would trust sending you money for a dog, for example. Shit like that is what I am talking about. Ratting out to the cops to save your ass would be another example of scummy. There are all types around these dogs. I posted on Facebook that I was happy with a dog I got from a guy and this one A'hole immediately challenges my 8 week old pup to a fight. I have a friend in Mexico that was coming through town with a very promising 1 time winner and I proposed we hook him into this guy for a weight pull, since they weighed about the same. I offered to do it at my house and promised there would be no weapons involved and assured his safety. This guy started backpedaling and accusing me of being a cop, LOL. It takes about 2 seconds on FB to see I am no cop.

I think the black guys in this game have to go an extra step to prove themselves. The 2 I have gotten dogs from were both straight up and honest guys, so I just go by my experience.

If I say bbq I mean ribs, steaks, tater salad, booze and broads lol. Racism is merely "tribalistic instinct" one will always feel "safer" and "more connected to their own kind".... be it skin, religion, politics, dogs, fashion, those that closely "match you" will be more appealing. We may have the itroweb, cities, corporate jobs, etc but DNA will always be DNA and our DNA pushes us to congregate around those most like ourselves

 

Very true. 10k years ago in Europe I am sure people with blond hair did not trust those dark haired people from Spain, LOL. My mom always said "boy, if I catch you discriminating against a black person I will beat you w/in an inch of your life! You don't know how hard they had it, sitting in the back of the bus. Having said that, things have swung 1000% the opposite direction. At one of my son's wrestling tournaments the last year, I got into it with some people who sat during the National Anthem. Ironically I was restrained by a black guy (who was an ex Navy SEAL) and my wife who said she would make me walk home if I started up. Here is the crazy part: It was the family of a black kid I eventually took under my wing. I actually started coaching the kid and got him into a wrestling club I helped found where he could wrestle for free.

I think that when people start having things in common, be it wrestling or the dogs, it brings down racial barriers. Still can't stand Brittney Griner, ha!

Bakari sounds like the kind of intelligent and dedicated dogman that contributed a lot to the dogs. Is there any of that Tyron/Paladin/Stompanato blood still around? Would it still be considered Carver?

I mean I'm not one to talk to about the Hebrews.. we went down that road once here lol. I'm not far off from mama there...I'm always me but I do feel more comfortable being 1 of 100 as opposed to being 100 to 1. But I'll be the same dude. This life is just a simulation. As will be the next. At work I'm the minority. I have my select few we all bring up old quotes from movies, joke about slavery, say racist shit but when it comes down to it I know we're just being social. We have work in common and sense of humor in common.

Not that anyone who isn't damn near family could get it but I imagine bak would answer questions and let the best if what's left go of it was getting let go of.

From what bak says about Tyrone and the cause of death. Tyrone was 30lb overweight when he was conditioning him. Truthfully imo pride and foolish judgment was the cause of death. 30lb you better plan on 90 day conditioning program.

 

Doesn’t really gel with the “pay attention to every detail and eliminate all the variables” Bak I’ve read about.

 

Making mistakes and learning from them is all apart of a person's time with the dogs. Sadly I know that I've ruined plenty of what could have been great dogs in the past. Nobody is perfect and pride has been the downfall of man since the beginning of time.
