None that I'd run into when I was more active on here. I lost my OEB back in September of 2019. Thinking about getting into a different breed, but just love the damn Bulldog. Evolution Kennels does a real good job of breeding, raising and training working OEBs.

  3. My husband and I are going to buy an English bulldog, so I will be happy if one of the breeders can answer a couple of my questions. I read on the Internet that this is a fairly allergenic breed of dog that needs a lot of care. We have already chosen what kind of food we will buy - Royal Canin, and Ace antlers for dogs. However, can English bulldogs be fed raw meat? The vet said that we can't feed our dog chicken, but he didn't say anything about red meat. What do you think about beef to the English bulldog?

Dog are designed by nature to eat RAW foods. Wonder why the vet said no chicken unless the dog has an allergy to it.

Two different breeds in the Olde English Bulldog and the English Bulldog.

I have a English bulldog. She has lived the good life for 12-13 years. In the past few months she has lost site in one eye, pretty much can't hear anymore and developed some arthritis type issues in one front leg. Up until now pretty much zero health issues.

She will eat gravel is I drop it in the pan. I feed her some of everything. From dry food to table scraps to raw chicken and raw red meat. She has never had any real health issues or allergy problems like a lot of others expereince.

The number of vets who will recommend raw foods is small, tho growing, still relatively small.

I have had dogs for almost forty years. I have fed pretty much every way up under the sun based on the number of dogs, the cost of the food and the purpose of the dogs. What I have come to believe is that a dog will and should be able to eat the ass out of a dead skunk. They were simply built that way.

    Good luck in the search.

  6. I love this dog breed and that's why I bought a bulldog last summer and every day I enjoy his presence to the fullest. It is clear that at first, I did not know how to take care of such a dog and I decided to inform myself because I was aware that his life depends on my decisions. This site helped me the most- thebulldogexpert.com, where there are such interesting and useful articles, from where I learned everything I needed to know. Now I am already confident in all my actions and I know that my dog is safe and I offer him everything I can.
