IMO the dog you dreaming of cause it's a big dream is far fetched walking 2 game dog proven stock and tested is more than likely not going to go the way your hoping it will..social dogs aren't likely and if they are it's rare 1 in a million
Google doesn't have 1st hand experience like most of us dogmen raising and breeding pure game dogs...not your local rescued pet bull from the pound
You have to listen to the older heads about 1st hand experience this breed may not be for you
That's my 2 cents but I wish u the best in your endeavors with these assassins as a pet...just be ready for a case and doctor bills in your near future

I don’t know him, I don’t know Chico and I don’t know you. Unfortunately I can only go off from what people say and not everyone is honest. If Chico is lying on that post, that would say a lot to me about his character as a man and that would change my perspective. I hope he’s not lying. That’s why I am leaning towards getting one of his dogs. Videos of his dogs seem to back up his claims of them being bred to standard, but I’ll take what you’ve just said into consideration and continue to do my research on him and his dogs. Any other info you have I’d really appreciate it. I’m just trying to find the real APBT - bred to standard. Ill do whatever it takes until I find it

 

When u say standard that's a real broad word STANDARD....there is alot of ways u can go with it

But I’ll add this - The selection process for guys to go special forces is in part designed to weed out the weak minded people ( the people with weak nerves ) as I’m sure you’re aware. That’s not all of it but it is part of it. I know it’s to test them to see if they can handle the stress of combat, or as close as a test can get to combat. That being said, it also will help for when they come home. What I mean is that a strong nerved person will be able to handle their ptsd much better than a weak nerved person. And the strong nerved person will recover and do big things. Check out the pod cast with Joko Wilink and Jonny Kim. It’s a prime example. Dude turned out to be a Harvard graduate, a doctor, and now works for nasa. The weaker guys don’t recover. They unfortunately commit suicide and a lot of other issues. That’s a whole other topic. most breeds bit , I believe the main breed in my country for biting is the Labrador Retriever , main reason , they are really popular , usually the owners have no problem letting loose in public parks , kid thinking they are friendly dogs and end up getting bit , but if a Pit bull attacks someone , they usually attack to win , and if a its a kid they attack , no I'd never let a pit bull around kids

Wrong. Idk Chico. That’s why I’m trying to get info from y’all on this. From what he posts and what I see in videos, that’s all I have to go on. And what I see are stable dogs with tons of drive that are great companions. He sells these pups from champ/grandchamp dogs to pet owners. This is fitting the standard. I’m not saying he is being honest or not. I can only go off of what he’s saying and videos I’ve seen. If you know something I don’t please share it with me. I don’t want to get a dog I don’t want. I agree with you. I don’t think all game dogs would be able to walk together like that. But I do know for a fact, a well bred APBT, bred to standard is obedient. And I know I can train dogs very well. Am I saying I would trust a game dog around all dogs? Absolutely not. A good example to go with my claim. Cesar the dog whisperer. There are plenty of videos of him taking a game dog and making him neutral around other dogs. Is that to say all of them can be that way? No, each dog as you know has a different temperament. But if you know what you’re doing, you can absolutely, imo, have control of your dog. Another example are the game dogs the Mike Vick had. 47 of the 51 were saved and rehabilitated. Only one was put down due to being too aggressive towards humans. One died of injuries and another died from idk what. But I saw a documentary on it and the dog I saw was either a champ or grand champ and the dog was neutral around other dogs. It took training and time but that’s where you can take these dogs too. I’m guessing Mike Vick had top of the line blood. And only one out of the 51 had to be put down due to aggression issues.
