Can you post a link to the O2 censor that you are using. I'm interested in seeing if something like that could be rigged up for a dog.

I think it's probably similar to a veterinary one, You can just hook it onto the dogs ear where there is minimal hair. The ones made for humans might be more cupped on the clamp for our finger contour though.

An ideal oxygen level is between 96% and 99% and an ideal heart rate is between 50 and 90 beats per minute (bpm). The oxygen level may be lower in some people with lung conditions, even when they are feeling well. If you have an existing lung condition, please check with your doctor about what your readings should be.

Above info is for humans, not dogs.

Mine is the kind that clips on the end of the finger. I doubt it could be rigged.

There some of the fitbit watches that give a ton of information.

I know a guy who shaves his dog's leg and buckles it like a wristwatch.

I have seen a pic of the kind that tags to the ear but never seen one in person.

Dogs. I only really use 16 panel for blood count. To get a good look at what's going on. But I think that this will also give me details that can be used also.

  11. In the summer I caught covid for the second time, fast forward a few weeks and I started having funny turns, weird chest pains, pressure, dizziness, had several ECG's, a stress test, X-Rays and nothing, bit still, the symptoms persisted.

I also started having anxiety attacks and suffering from stress, it has been quite horrendous, well, yesterday I went for another ECG at the doctors, the first trace was normal as usual but on the second trace something finally came up as unusual, or so the nurse said. I have to wait for the doctor to get back in touch as it's not really the nurses job to make a diagnosis.

When I got talking to her she said since Covid these cases have gone up massively, I'm relatively young & healthy so no idea what it is, she mentioned pericarditis though, something that will need to be diagnosed with an echocardiogram.

    Hope all is well.
I have had some memory issues since my second time with Covid. I am not sure if it was the actual Covid or having such a low blood oxygen level over a long period of time.

I can look down at something as simple as a bottle of ketchup and say, "Pass me the _________" and be completely blank. I see the ketchup, my brain starts the sentence but then I can't say the word/won't come out. Yet, I'm cognizant enough to know I can't say "Ketchup". Really weird. And sometimes thirty minutes or even an hour later "Ketchup" pops into my brain.

It is like that with so many things. I can't remember phone numbers and if I go to the grocery store for three or four things I have to write them down or have my wife text them to me.

My wife said she knew it was something to it when I could not say our English Bulldog's name a few months ago. The dog has sat in the chair with me for the last 15 years and I could not say her name out loud.

Yesterday I had an appointment with the neurologist checking in on my neuromyelitis/Devic's and he said he has had several people comment about memory issues post Covid. He said it is one of the many studies going on now for post Covid issues.

It does seem to be the gift that keeps on giving.

  13. Yeah, I'm 40 so would prefer not to have ticker problems, I'm in decent condition, don't have high blood pressure, never smoked, drink on occasions, had the odd session on the Bolivian Marching Powder, everything has come back as fine until yesterday, hopefully it was just a glitch with the ECG as the nurse said it could be.

Bolivian Marching Powder, is that like a kissing cousin to the 'booger sugar'.

  15. Yeah, had a fair bit in my younger days and on the odd occasion when I've been drunk since, I can't imagine it's good for your heart.
