2013 AADR last chance to place in a Michigan show and Invitationals Sat OCT 12 Nationals Sun OCT 13 Chelsea MI

 

it's hard to believe aadr is still going.back i 2001 we hosted the national and what a flop it was. man what a disappointment after all the work, Dan

 

well dan they have some pretty strong clubs and supporters. tom garner is going to be the judge for the inv. on sat so it cant be that weak of a reg. or club events if t.g. is going to come all the way to MI to judge.

 

i am glad to see it still going. any event you can enjoy our breed o dog in gets a thumbs up from me. here in this area the competition from adba was just to strong at that time down here. also we were jusr getting the aadr started. i heard that garner is a co- owner now. if so thats good because it takes bucks to run it. something none of us had in them days- Dan

 

If you don't live in North Carolina, Michigan or like two other states then you won't see much from AADR.

 

I went to the show Sunday and it was a decent turnout. I got to see some friends and talk dogs. Some brothers from down south cleaned up. They had three dogs that were litter mates that were shaped right.

 

I was there, too. Was a little disappointed because I had no idea what the judge wanted to see. All I brought were puppies. I'm not hating on the guy that won, but when you haven't placed less than first and only lost out on best puppy once all year and get beat by a dog that you've been beating all year and who's been placing 3rd all year, it's a little surprising.

 

whene the guy shows up with 9 dogs out of 32 and they have bought the dogs or the dogs are down off of dogs that come from the judge its kinda went hand in hand. lol this one the showed a black bitch was a skitchy ass dog tail between its legs pinned to the ground kinda hard to judge imo, but when the judge bought the dog and he judged it lol why wouldnt it win.i won my class both days but when it came to best male im sorry my lil bulldog and another of ed w. should havve been between us but no of course the judges had to pick the t.g. dogs.im not hating but when 90% of the people at the show say "you got robbed" it goes hand in hand. exp winning best male twice and best in show the month before at a show by the same club dog would not sit still for nothing 100% bulldog.o well when i asked mr garner what my dog was lacking he said the only thing he was missing was "the lines on his head need to be sexxy like the line on an italian sports car" i had to remind him that this is america and american dogs lol. mtc

 

I do believe your dog took first over mine. 12-18 males?
