In the near future we plan on getting some tight Rocker blood to use for brood.

 

I would have loved to have crossed some tight Rocker into a Little Frank/Hickson gyp I had.

 

I am a fan of the old beetle bailey blood...

Also the new gashouse dog and his tiger in the garden, those bulldogs wernt the only ones in the garden hiding out...
those breeders behind those arent known but were around with boyles in the dirty mary days and had bulldogs like righthand man...

I feel the same way I do about boyles as garner, the source isnt a good as some as the families that came from it, including deloach...

The Boyles and Deloach dogs are the same dogs.

Cant comment on the Bellon dogs of today because I haven't seen one but they were very competitive in the southwest and across the border in their day with the stu fowler/yellow/eli stuff.

If a man wanted to learn about how real bulldogs breedings are put together, that is a proper pedigree put together by outstanding gentlemen. Joe Con's pedigree is the cake and the recipe, no holes in that lineup

They are different is all, right? Some may not recognize the names behind one of the peds, whereas they may the other.

The Deloach dogs are very similar acting to the Boyles dogs, not counting the fact that Deloach used Boyles dogs in his breedings. But I feel that the best and higher percentage of the Deloach breedings was the Eli/Boomerang/Snooty stuff bred around Rocker/Snapper not necessarily the Beetle Bailey stuff.

With both the Deloach and Boyles dogs you get high strung, hard keepers and also the fair amount of quirky ass weirdos. You're also going to get strong bodies, big heads and rat tails. Punishing mouth is there but also high running curs that have to be checked hard and culled hard.

 

Thanks Naus. Like I posted it is not a line I have had first hand experience in and years ago I passed on breeding a nice gyp I had to a heavy Backstreet male, just went with my gut.
