The weekend was great! I met some wonderful new people (CHJ and FK). We didn't take anything home on Saturday, but my sister kennel (Magnum Kennels) and I did great on Sunday at the Nationals show.
Lil' Bit didn't place either day, but she was acting weird. Phantom got first in 18-24 month males!!! Magnum Kennels dogs: Vogue got 3rd in 6-9 month females and Caman got first in 2-3 year old males!!!
    Here are some pictures!

I don't have any pics of Caman with his, but I'm sure she'll post them soon!

Another wonderful thing is I got a compliment after the show from the judge (Schoolboy Kennels). He said I was a great handler and where ever I put my dog, he just popped! I just was so tickled.

Anyone have any other pictures from the show??

  2. I have a few of Phanton...I didnt get any of Lil Bit though...:(she was so far on the otherside when she showed....:o if you know what I mean!
I am loading them all now, I will post in a few...
WAY TO GO PHANTOM....you should have had a win on Sat as well....but the blues and man biters and gay tails won......! IMAGINE THAT!
I know that the "pit bull" breed is in danger and I understand that. I understand how some people would say and think and feel that WE SHOULD ALL WORK TOGETHER.......but I am sorry....I do not agree with placing mixed breeds at a show and encouraging the breeding of a BYB and a puppy peddler, or one that wil most likely turn into one, just because of maybe only ONE ribbon.....make sense? Then to top that off with.....there were 2..not one but TWO manbiters that placed both first i think...might have been a first and second....I was shocked, I mean.....the dog almost bit the judges hand....and he got the ribbon anyways....
Another one was fighting/to the point of snapping and biting at) with the owner outside the ring, and placed first as well:confused:
It was rather shocking...but I guess, thats why I am NOT A JUDGE...:D because I dont know the ins and outs......

Sorry sometimes my pics aren't that great...

Forgot this girls name....WSK's off Sasha and Popeye! NICE!

And last but not least out little Kain...
This was in best conditioned, and would walked out with 3rd, I believe, but right when the judge walked over to them, he jumped and turned and the Williams turned to the next dog instead...:(

This is Kain heading out to take first in 12-18 males!

It was great meaning you two as well. It was nice for a change to have people I know at the shows. I usually got by myself for a short time just to watch, and it gets a big boring, but I had a lot of fun on Sat...
I agree with FK. The man-biter getting a ribbon definitely was something I was disappointed in...
NCPW congrats on Phantom winning on Sunday! He definitely looks great!

Yay Phantom! Give him a congratulatory belly rub from me, and one for Lil Bit for trying. She's grown up to be quite a looker, as has Phantom. Do you show Stuka as well? Just curious.

Hey that was me holding Kain in Best Conditioned!!!!! WOW!! Yeah he would have taken 3rd, but when he came over he told the guy beside me to move just a little closer to see if Kain would show intrest in him. Kain's only 16 months old, and was really excited and just so happy! Oh and boy is he strong! On sunday he didn't place.

I personally liked the judge on Sunday better than Williams, not b/c I didn't place on Sat, but some of the dogs he was picking were not up to standard. Helios took 3rd on Sunday in 18 - 24 males, with Phantom taking first in the class, and Sassy took Second in 2 - 3 females, she would have taken a first, but she kept throwing her front legs out to far. Helios took 3rd in Judges Choice Sat. Sassy took 3rd Best Brindle on Sat. On Sunday Helios took 3rd Best Red Nose, Sassy took 1st Best Brindle.
If any one has any pics of Helios and Sassy please post them, I didn't have time to take any pics of them.
I didn't get to meet any one, guess I'm not that noticable....which may be a good thing!

  10. Hey...I know this is a stretch, but do you know that guy that is wearing a blue shirt and glassess handling that white male in the background of your pic? I met that guy at a show once, and have been wanting to get in contact with him. He has that white dog, and will also show a chocolate female puppy, and an all black eli bred female that is I think about 3. I do know that he is involved with, or owns "Anarchy Kennels" in KY, but I don't have any contact info. I guess I'll probably see them again at a show in Nov.

Man I was debating on going to that show, or one donn in TN, but I ended up having to work on Saturday. I was going to shoot up there after work, but the show was two hours away, etc. I should've came anyway. Dang!

Congrats to everyone that won. Ncpatchw I saw Phantom win the blue on Sun..congrats..you put a lot of work into him. I was surprised lil bit didnt win. EASTCOAST..you put on a great show! You were pretty much a blur for 2 days runnin around making sure everything was runnin smooth..lol. This was one of the best shows I have been to.
Angus did great on Sat. Won the mill race, first in best rednose, first in 3-5 males, first in Best male, and almost went BIS. Took a third in 3-5 males Sun, second in best rednose, & second in the mill race...FFK's Duke got first.

    Thanks
Yeah he was a bit light and I'm working on gaining his weight back in (his hips mostly) Its hard to show conditioning in a white dog, so his light weight shows a lil' better, but we're working on him, since he's my first show dog thats white.

  14. Were either of you there on Saturday? You or Eastcoast? I didnt know you were going to be there....I would like to know who you are..for the next time, or if I remember you from Sat....

I thought I talked to you for like two seconds. Well, actually NCPW I thought talked to you, and I was next to her, but I'm not sure. I found out after that you were twiztidpitz, if you were the one with the "baby pen". lol.

that guy in the picture wasn't Tenacity. Tenacity was that guy with the dog Licker that I am in love with that I pointed out to you. Remember? They are out of Fredrickburg, VA. I'd love to have a dog off that yard.
