Are your females generally less dog aggressive?

Never had a female, only males but the wife really wants one.

Personally, I prefer the females. Especially in the house. They tend to usually be more docile in their mannerisms than the boys are. Softer natured if you will and less high strung more times than not. Tend to listen better too. At least that is my experience with my dogs. I would not say they are less dog aggressive at all though. If anything, they're worse. Them bitches are bitches. Lol.

 

I agree with all that AGK . As far as less D.A. hell naw . Maybe more .

 

In my experience the bitch seems to be more of a nut job.

 

I prefer females over males. I’ve personally had better success and closer connections with my females.
A lot of times I feel like the male do they’re job based on machismo and trying to dominate. While the females do they’re job because they’re mean and nasty. I like mean and nasty lol

I have owned 3 females and 2 males. Pretty much all were off titled dogs except my current pup and she is proving to be the craziest of all. Every female I have owned has been completely nuts in pretty much every way. Honestly, complete psychos. They would start up and often scream to get at my males, even a mother son combo I had (and the son 's father was Gr Ch Haunch). The last time I owned a female and male together, the female ate through the chain link fence of her kennel and got at him in a yard accident. She was in bad shape when I got home, but that never deterred her one bit to go after him again. All my females were good around children but if any human had bad intentions they would start screaming. My males were always pretty chill until another dog got w/in 10 feet, but if my females even got a wiff of another 4 legged creature w/in a miles they would start going ballistic. My first female started screaming to get at a cop on a horse.

So if you want a female that is less DA, I don't have an answer for you, except to look at something besides a real game bred dog. Real dog are hard to find anyways. The main difference is females are more snuggly/cuddly and if not fixed bleed all over the house. The pup I have right now, her littermates had to be separated at 3 months, mostly because of the females.

 

Sounds like best for me is to stick to males for now since I’ve had good luck with males.

Lmfaoo I have my eye on a Carver bitch but I currently already own a bitch. Always had a male and female, never female and female.

This thread pretty much answered my question about two females living together. If anyone has a positive experience lmk
