That’s gangster 1200hp is insane that’s over 250hp per cylinder lol . Knock on wood Iv had good luck not getting bothered by the cops in mine lol people don’t realize how deadly these evos are on the streets . My old man has a hellcat redeye and it didn’t come around me until I threw 5th gear B-):)) and my car only makes 500 on pump gas at the moment can’t wait to turn it up!

Back in 2006 I bought this 2004 Twin Turbo Corvette from Jason Pass. He's a metallurgical engineer Who designs turbines and cooling systems for General Motors, Chrysler and Boeing. He took out to a show in Detroit and drove it up on a mustang dyno and made 852 hp at 144 mph on pump gas with a.c. ps. p.b. cruise control, ect. All packed under the hood of a 04 vette. Chrysler was so impressed that he made that much h.p. with only 347 cubic inches, they gave him a Viper and a checking account to do the same thing to the Viper. Also that dyno pull was at 12 lbs of boost and a mild tune. It has made a 1000 rear wheel h.p with a different tune and 16 lbs of boost. 4th gear pull at 152mpg.

You are correct about the mustang dyno. Truthfully the old vette would not hook up with that much h.p. along with a 6 speed manual transmission, Mccloud twin disc clutch, racing brace, chrome Molly roll cage, carbon fiber mini tubs with 335,-30-18 Drag Radials tucked under it ect. Way to violent . If the car would have been back halfed, with a 9 inch, ect. Lots of fun for sure though. I have been drag racing all my life. NHRA / IHRA in Super stock, also Stock, Grudge cars ect.

Man that was a hell of a car ! And to think it had all that done to it in 06 , I drag race NHRA as well I run super street class with a 69 chevelle in division 1 , going to try and run the hellcat in stock this year too probably won’t be to competitive but sure as hell would be fun , also have a 1980 Malibu with a bbc just as a fun bracket car and I still have some rice burners lol

Hell Cat is No Joke, I enjoy competing at any level. Here in Columbia SC there is at least 12 Dragstrips with in a 100 miles from where I live. That's awesome. I'm a No box /Footbrake racer at heart. Dail in bracket racing is fair. Hit the tree and run the number. It's not who's the fastest or who's got the most money, its who's the most consistent. I have won some Big Money in Footbrake including the Footbrake Nationals . My biggest wins in my lifetime were at Immokalee Florida National Event 2009 in Super Stock and 2011 in Stock , also Gator Nationals in Stock. None of those events paid any thing like A big Footbrake race.

I’m with you on the TRX dodge has really stepped there shit up when it comes to the muscle scene , I’m interested in that Durango since it’s going to be more limited , Iv gone 10.5 so far with a bone stock redeye on a tire and my dumb ass left traction control on and it spun the 1-2 still in the dead heat of august

Wicked ride BB. Wolf in sheep’s clothing, especially in the US. Very popular ride here in Trini, not as heavily modified though

That' Malibu is a very nice bracket car. What Dragstrips are you going too ? BB mentioned Morrosso, which it's name was changed many years ago to Palm Beach for what ever reason.

This technology was way ahead of its time. Jason started with a LSX Racing block bored 8 over for clearance, Ross racing pistons teflon and ceramic coated, A jet Crank shaft , billet splayed caps, H-beam rods, Big Nasty roller cam, with matching spings, stage 3 ported Heads with all T&D Roller rockers K-Tech Developments did the a
Assembly. 96 lbs injectors , upgraded fuel delivery system, including MSD fuel pump booster, twin Walboro Jet pumps, the fuel line looks like Heater hoses lol. He designed his own Top mount twin turbo. Along with a huge Inner cooler ,Garrett 35 mm turbos, sent to precision and had the ported , propelled and squeezed another 100 hp. There rated at 550 per turbo from the factory. Relocated the power steering, ac, and he caught more hell with designing the top mount alternator bracket than anything else. So he got a patent on it , so when ls1 folks order one he gets paid. It took him 2 years and 100k to complete the car after buying the car new in 2003. Transmission was modified with Supermicro meshed synchronized 6-speed transmission Hardened input shaft and output shafts Blow Shield ect. Amazing that normal driving at 80 mph the car would get 26-28 mpg, but press the gas pedal and at about 4400 rpm a violent explosion as the twin turbos spool up. Mpg goes to 3 mpg. Very thrilling to experience for those who haven't ever been out in a highly modified turbo car...
