Bolio blood known for what?

    I beg to differ, here are 2 dogs I would concider excellent representitives of a Bolio dog:

    Obviously Bolio has been dead for many years now but when almost every dog in the pedigree comes down from Bolio, I would concider that a Bolio dog tried and true. I guess it all depends on how you read a pedigree. When almost all the dogs in the pedigree come down from Bolio himself, how can it not be a Bolio dog?

    have had good success crossed on the mims blood, especially the redboy and hardtack/carolina flo (bull boy bob descendants)...but i would leave out the polands jump around stuff....let's just say there will be no need to pack a lucnh with those dogs...you will not be there long....a small percentage of the time the freak jump around (bullet/stoney blood) will make you happy....but the overwhelming majority of the time the lack of heart (jump around/stoney blood) will leave one with a long, sad face....US1

    this was the original plan...breed the very best bitches we could to the above male..patricks kasai...regardless of bloodline...just solid proven bitches....and then breed the daughters off those to this male...

    the only problem came with anvil being such a spazz he would not breed...AI's were really hard too 'cause if anything touched him in 'his' area he just let go...he put a ton of 'puppy juice' on the ground, on me, and on whatever was in range...a nightmare to breed...the few times he was bred we got really good results....US1

    thats whythe mims stuff is there. check out mcdaniels deuce and brinsons mocha. thats the breeding im talking about. then get back at me. Then check out mcdaniels deuce back to his daughter councils queen.

    saw those breedings...talked with mcD a couple of years ago...had stoney up this way some years back..he was bred to the very best bitches and never produced the first bulldog....i have told many with the grunt.molly bred dogs...just breed back toward the mims blood...especially the reboy/hardtack/carlonia flo blood with those....the heavy snooty is OK...but the redboy/tack/flo stuff is more likely to carry the stoney/jump around stuff....but that is just my opinon...LOL...US1

    A boyles dog in my opinion is just a bolio dog bred by Ron like a frisco dog is really just a chinaman dog, but boyles didnt breed either of those dogs I posted, so I guess no, I dont see them as boyles dogs I see them ( and most boyles dogs) as bolio dogs bred by someone other than R.B..

    I feel similar to AGK, but it kind of depends on WHAT boyles dogs.

    Andy Capp was, what, 3/4 bolio? with an 8th of eli and an 8th of hank blood.

    Queen was bolio boomerang, which runs through a lot of bolio dogs in the first place.

    So I mean Boyles was founded on BOLIO crosses. Bolio to Hank blood, Eli blood and Boomer blood. But the common denominator is always bolio blood through redbaby and BBB...

    i see what you are saying. when i start seeing eli, and hank blood i just see that as a boyles type cross. Similar blood but there isnt much in your dogs anyways. Doesnt matter to me personally, both are lines anyone would love to feed right? lol

    seen a lot of good posts...most of my 'bolio' blood has been thru patricks kasai...kasai looked like bolio spit him out himself...kasia was smart as a tack...could pound very hard between the eyes...pound for pound he is freak strong...being i never saw bolio i can only go by stories i have read and heard...kasai and bolio were pretty much cut from the same cloth...peas in a pod, if you will....kasai stamped 99% of his offspring with pound for pound brute strength...my ozzie male got it all...the strength, the brains, the power...slick as glass...my petey bitch ( kasai to medlins outlaw/half brother to redboy and redboy)...she got the freak strength but dumb as a box of rocks...absolutely no self regard...can punch all night but could not dance if her life depended on it...petey bitch was from an all game litter with several winners....some of them picked up the brains and ability she missed out on...my ozzie male looks like bolio spit him out also except for he is black...shape, size and delivery is just the same...so although he is a bolio/redboy/snooty cross on paper, he himself screams bolio...where as all his littermates/half siblings did not...i call him a bolio dog but his paperwork says he is a cross..three ways at that...so like one of the other posters said the paperwork does not dictate 'bolio' near as much as the individual dog/dogman does...but again, just my opinion....US1
