Without doubt Floyd produced some of the greatest dogs of all time...but which dog do you feel was his greatest ? Greatest in every way from the game to producing.

It would have to be Blind Billy since he based his yard off this dog.

well Floyd loved his dog blind billy he was like kin to that dog.but if you asked him wich dog was his best dog he always said the same thing he liked Boze.and i have to agree with him he was one excellent dog.so in my opinion i would say his best dog was Boze.

I know one of his favorites was the Ox dog. He thought VERY highly of that dog.

My personal favorite is Eli jr.

I lean toward Blind Billy as well.,, foundation dog of the Eli bloodline.. can't go wrong there.

BlindBilly or Boze would be my thoughts. They made up his whole program for almost 15 years.

It was Boze that was his greatest dog. Perhaps not his favorite, but his greatest.

  12. This is more of a question...

I don't know how accurate the source is, but I recently read an article that stated that Bolio was bred Carver of course, but was sold and sent to Boudreaux to be matched, and was eventually matched and conditioned by Floyd Boudreaux for his 1x win, and his best in show for that event. Does this then make him a Boudreaux dog if that is true, or is this strictly about dogs that were bred by Boudreaux? (not to say that he's then the best, but he may be another great to be considered?)

  13. Not one, but both, Boze and Blind Billy.

The reason I said Blind Billy over Boze is that Boze is 5x Blind Billy in his 4 gen ped.

What do you think of Skull ?

  16. Yes. I've noted that.
    :)

  17. I saw some of his descendants in action, but noted nothing special...

... just nice and gameness bulldogs... but what some of them I saw had lack of techniques...

Not sure why but I have always been a fan of that dog, I know he was not F.B.'s greatest but I have heard good things about him and his off-spring.

  19. I've noted that you're a fan of Skull... nothing wrong with this of course... list, he was a great producer, but in my oppinion, never as Chinaman, Indian Bolio, Bullyson or Zebo, just to list what I consider some great producers...
