  1. This dog was stolen in Hazlehurst Mississippi and never recovered. I realize it was a long time ago but any further information on this dog?

They stole a dog from me in Tennessee years ago, and guess what ?!, the dog was never seen again.

Dogthieving is from all times, a friend of me in TX had 8 stolen at one night.

It's a blow below the belt, a cowardish act, but that's what a dogthief is.

A good pit is the one that wont attack people, those that do are super iffy, since man bitters were curred out by breeders

its a thing of convenience, pit fighting dogs had to be broken up, washed, carried, conditioned, etc. a man bitter would be liability there

dangerous having a man eater, but most won't cull them if they have good ability , most attacks by pit bulls are while owned as pets ,,having the freedom to roam around the house thinking they are the boss

arent most attacks not from actual pits but bullies/ambulls/bandogs and similar pit looking dogs? people these days see anything square headed and go "ITS A PIT"

media call any bull breed a pit if its to do with attacks ,,but plenty of pet owned APBT have killed people

A lot of pet owned pits are not pure breed/are curs. Half of them look like staffies

While that's probably true, it's a conundrum. Of course more attacks would be house dogs / pets. They are in more close and constant contact with people. The last part of that statement will always depend on the person who ownes the dog. I've had them in my house for 25 years. Many of them over the years have come and gone. Raised 2 children around them their entire lives along with every friend they've ever brought home with them over the years and have never had any kind of aggression towards anyone allowed to be around them. They are only the boss if the owner allows such behaviour.

We could write a whole book about why pitbull attacks are so "overblown" most of the time.

No need to, it sells the agenda. It's blatant these days. I'm a firm believer that these dogs are not for everyone. Most people shouldn't own gerbils yet go out and get a high performance animal. While I can't prove it, I know deep down that the vast majority of attacks on people in the news are not true ABPT at all. They just look the part or are a mix. Don't get me wrong, I have no tolerance for true human aggression or what most label as man eaters within this breed but I got 2 that will fuck someone up if they don't know you. If my Chino is loose and you came in my backyard, expect extreme confrontation. It's always a possibility for an animal to be an animal. I find it to be fairly rare though in my life and times in the APBT that they take to a dislike or not trust people in general, It's in their nature to please. They will do what you want them to though more times than not and it isn't very hard to encourage a dog of any breed to be leary and become aggressive towards strangers which can easily lead to a very dangerous dog in the wrong hands.

  17. Wow

  18. Why do people do that? Is it jealousy or bitterness or what? I don’t understand that at all.

    Jealousy
    Revenge
    Bitterness
    Owed something etc.

They do it for many different reasons. They need shot on sight. Only a handful of other crime is worse than a damn thief.
