The pedigree will be true when you bred each dog in each generation.
IMO that is the only proven way to have a true pedigree is to have bred & owned each dog n it.

We can't put a stamp on what true or not before our names in pedigrees but we can we we are the ones who owned the dog that is in the pedigree.

So many people are getting caught up and chasing paperwork. they don't even have a clue if these breedings are actually true .Unless they're getting the Bulldog's from a honest person just as you said that's been doing their own breedings. Hands-On but having said that depending on who they got there I
    Iri
Original stock from, the paperwork behind those dogs could be false. Yet at that point it doesn't matter . I only heard of two families who are honest about their breedings on paper the Colby family and Howard heinzl . I understand that to a certain degree such as The Old Master himself . Maurice Carver who bred some of the Best on the planet.

A It is about honesty and pride. B It is all about ego and money. A person can choice for A or B or mix A and B up as it is on him or her how tot run their dog business. No matter what when money become the main factor and honesty is not there it will fail in the end. Pride and a bit Not over the hill ego plus honesty makes better dogs.

  11. I used a phrase back in the day never buy a dog from someone who seeks money to pay child support or his mortgage
if a man need to buy his next meal for his family and the money needs to come from this litter who knows what he might tell you

That's why papers are hanged and bogus story's floating around. Recall the guy who bought cheap dogs advertised in the newpapers to resale them later with a fixed pedigree for big bucks. Or a studdog who was in high demand but an other was used instead without telling the owner of the bitch. Or the bitch who changed from four to eight in a day. The male from four who was 9 in a day Happens all the time in life, crooked people everywere. look at our government, LOL corrupt to the bone. Some commit a robbery or murder for cash and some bred dogs which are far away from the truth. Nothing wrong with earning some well deserved cash for an good dog so long as it is bred in all honesty.
