Can somebody tell me wat they think this is?...

One of my hounds is losing hair on his ear in a circle...he hasn't been around any other dog and I'm wondering where this is coming from...I have a picture to show so please give opinions on this...can this be treated with nu stock or do I need antibiotics??

My dogs have been stung by wasps, which resulted in some that looked like that, slightly raised. possibly a fungus, which athletes foot spray should kill. hot spots? Sulfadine fixes.
Just a few off top of head.

 

all i can think of is ringworm. tinactin/lamisil helps for that stuff.

one good way to tell if it is ringworm is to rub your forehead against the area. if you too end up looking like the dog you have ringworm and should treat it with tough actin tin-actin. it will build a strong bond between you and your animal friend. I speak from experience. J/P

looks like a ringworm to me, use some tinactin, lotrimin, lamisil, etc... all of those will kill it if it's a fungus... you can also spray w/ ACV. Could also be a sting as has been mentioned.

 

Is it raw? If so, could be a hotspot.
If it's not raw and is dry/flaky, could be ringworm.

Be careful, ringworm spreads and even you can get it!!
