    There is a Mims group on facebook. Lots of dogs close to the source being bought and sold.

    Not too many left straight from the yard as the breedings have been limited in recent years.

    I been on the Mims train for a number of years. great family of dogs.

    I remember the Harry hargroves interview,without digging it out he basically said that at that time Mims was the best breeder in the game.If he was a newcomer to the breed .Mims door would be the first he would be knocking.

    I would not say big headed but you do not see a lot of the terrier look in the Mims dogs, but then again some do.

    Mr. Mims maybe has 70+ years in the dogs. 2nd generation.

    One of the things Mr. Hargrove, and many others, were the over whelming majority felt the dogs were as advertised. Seldom, if ever, has there been a controversy over how a dog from Mr. Mims was bred.

    One of the bigger reasons so many people got a good start in the dogs with a Mims dog is the high percentage of game dogs across the board. The Mims' strains were deeply game enough to hide/over come mistakes made along the way.

    I assumed Mr. Mims didn't do social media, but you mentioned last year that there was a Mims group on Facebook. Just curious as to what the members of the group are buying and selling. Thanks.
