I needs to be a little longer he is slipping of the back of the mill and the incline is steep maybe make it adjustable and it is to wide he will sway from side to side.It looks solid through good job for the first time:)

I think you maybe doing more harm than good . The incline is way too steep , like he is running up a mountain . It also needs to be longer so he isnt running /falling off the ends . That incline will put a strain on his kidneys from constant pulling up that incline . Pretty much take those 4 screws out and lower it to 6"-8" higher than the rear .

Thats a fucked up carpet mill lol You should of looked at other carpet mills and how they are designed so you would have a better idea of how to make one better.

The length of the mill is fine. It aint about the mill needing to be longer so he dont fall of the ends etc...thats what ameture eyes see lol.

saiyagin the man asked for advise and you are the only 1 blaming him. why? the mill is wide as hell and should be less of a incline plus you connection point should be the center of the mill

Blaming him? I did give him advice, I told him he should of looked at some carpet mill designs before he even attempted to make his.

Yes the mill is too wide and the incline is too high and the connection point or Hook up as I like to call it is too way back that is why the dog is falling off the mill not because the mill is not long enough like some people think, also he could of used the double connection to make it even steadier. So basically he did almost everything wrong you can do in making a carpet mill thats why his mill is fucked up lol. I tell it straight , keeping it real lol.

Saiyagin your right The mill is long enough ,The width just makes it look shorter than it is .

if I'am not mistaken having the dog hooked by a harness could wreck it's shoulders.

looks ok other than the things the others have pointed out.
was that the dogs first itme on a mill?

Thanks for the advice. All easy fixes. I will add another connection point more towards the front. Will also lower the inclince 3 1/2 inches

I could do without the sarcasm tho. Will make all corrections today and post new vid.

    Comments anyone!

I think it's an improvement. Dont see the need for the two connection points now its definitely stable. and I will lessen the width the next time I build one. I appreciate all the advice keep it coming.

1.) Think i should lower it more?

2.) what about harness vs collar?

    3.) etc.
