Just check his offspring. Nothing like Rusty... After all these years and still this bullz come up.
Years ago dogmen all over were saying, relax and just wait his offspring and we will see what his real ped is.
Well, nothing like Rusty until now! Frisco type dogs only!

What was he bred back to?

Dynomite was bred and still is, through frozen semen, his ass off. It doesn't matter to who he was bred back. Still some of them should resemble Rusty if that was the case. Even that stupid ped with fotos of Rusty and Dynomite is stupid. Bad fotos, specific angle to show off two black masks... The truth is that their structure and characteristics were very different. Legs, shoulders, even the color of the eyes!
This rumor came up from a specific person for a personal beef and nothing more...
It's tragic people still believe into this shit!

Not claiming his off Rusty as I have nothing to gain from any side of the argument. Just asked which way was he bred (as in was he bred to any and all or mostly to a line)?

It's all the talk about tom hanging papers or giving wrong ped. I bought a GR CH CEASAR female from him. I was worried about her true breeding, but knew however she was bred, she would still be his family of dogs. well when I bred the female, one of ceasar former owners was present. and right away he began to point out the different physical attributes she received from her sire. Even helped us get the tie when the female in the prime of her cycle wanted to do something else.
Moral to the story is , I either got lucky or the paper hanging is not as pronounced as people would have you believe. I must admit, most of the people i know, who run this line think DYNOMITE is off rusty

I am in contact with the man that gave Ceasar to TG and has the same opinion as me. Dynomite is off Frisco. He also knows the man that began all these rumors and what kind of a man he is, in general. So, it is up to anyone to believe whoever they want. Their 'CV' is a great criteria to pick a side.
I believe my own eyes when I see Dynomite offspring and they look nothing like Rusty.
Plus, a decorated dogman that runs redboy stuff himself, along with Frisco and stating that this Rusty conflict is full of shit and why.
It is simple. A low life wannabe, was butthurt from TG and tried to discredit him. TG has and had for several years, great dogs in his disposal. He crosses several times redboy into his blood. There is no need or reason to paperhung Dynomite's pedigree. He has nothing to earn by that. Many people already say this, who gives a fuck who the sire is? He throws bulldogs. So, the Rusty theory has no standing point.
If his whole yard was off Dynomite, ok. But he wasn't the only bulldog he bred. Bolo was double bred Frisco too. Looks similar, even bigger from Dynomite, like Rusty(!) and throwed similar offspring as Dynomite (Frisco type), but noone says anything about his ped. Why?
Anyway, everybody are allowed to have their opinion. I can even hang with a guy that still believes the Rusty theory, it's all good. I don't care. I just state some facts and use plain logic to figure out what is the truth. And I end up that Dynomite is Frisco offspring!

If someone has to make a decision, better do it by what they see with their own eyes. There is no article at the Journal. It's an interview from the man that started this rumor.
This rumor is already debanked. There is a thread at pedsonline forum, almost 80 pages that make fun of him, what he tried to do and failed.

  11. You are correct if you are making a decision on breeding, etc. The interview was in print so I called it an article. 80 pages? What weight does that hold? In no way am I supporting dude claims but I have lived long enough to know the truth is usually not complicated unlike lies.

This is one of the great stories in the dogs. Tons of opinions. Tons of points of view.

I saw one off Dynomite called Ch. Caballo. Being an avid member of the Red Boy club, especially the Cottingham strain, knowing several of those TVK dogs resided on bulldog hill for a spell, Caballo looked way more like a Red Boy dog than a Frisco bred dog.

In turn the dogs off Caballo suggest Red Boy. They look a lot more like Cottingham dogs than Frisco.

It is one of those things to talk about. It does not matter one way or the other. I have a little shot of Garner blood in my dogs, about an 1/8th or so. So I appreciate what he has done. To go one step further, I believe he should be teaching a business class at a major institution based on his business experiences in the dogs. He identified a product early on, he made a significant capital investment and targeted his share of the market with brilliance. He has evolved and changed with the times. He sells a lot of dogs. A lot of top quality dogs. He buys back a lot of really good dogs and the circle perpetuates. Just a little while ago his dogs were $650-$750. He has tested the market with price increases and obviously few have balked at $1200-$1500 a pup. They keep selling. If there is a lag some guy gets a killer deal for $1000. He may not know where every dog goes but he knows people who know people that know when they turn out well. He pays highly for the ones that do well. Another near perfect capital investment.

I'm a big fan. I still think Dynomite is a Cottingham/Eli dog on top and an inbred Frisco dog on the bottom. Although it does make for interesting conversation, it really does not matter all that much.

Well, in that 80 pages, are many usefull info about Finch. Read that and then make your own decision. The creditability of the source, defies the value of the info...
True, the truth is simple most of the times. Since when a worker in a kennel decides the breedings? Just wondering how all this took place from the start, when it seems unreasonable for a breeder like TG to give these kind of rights to a couple of months worker.
A personal beef of a man that his highlight was that he worked as a worker at TG's yard, ended up spreading rumors (not only about Dynomite, he actually spreaded 'info' about any hound at the Hill and of course has only shady things to say). If you have access at that forum, you will find out all these and a LOT more about him...
