Ch FBTK' Miss Barracuda ROM

A little known dog from the history in the African Game Dog World, that deserves special praise.
Ch Miss Barracuda was part of a litter that included one other champion and a 1xw. She was sired by the 2xw M's Trunks and her dam was the Producer of Record, Dogg Pound's May May. Trunks was inbred on a proven game dog and producer, 1xw 2xgl Gunman's Bobby. Bobby was sired by the import, Butcher's Big John 1xgl POR, that was off Ch Ramrod's Tramp ROM x Geist's Stormy (GrCh Assassin II x Gaine's Footie), and helped by Geist's Pazi import, off Ch STP's Black Pazmanian ROM x Geist's Honey (GrCh O.Stevens'Virgil ROM x Reid's Easy). May May was off the Mayday import , Supercharger's Sangré ROM (GrCh Barracuda x Supercharger's Baby Rouge import) x Payday's Laptop (Scorpio's and Mashamplan's Snorman 1xw x Ch Payday's Bakkies 3xw).
Her littermates were Ch Tita 3xw and Troy Jones 1xw.
Miss Barracuda curred as a 11month old in her first try out into a match ready bitch and FBTK acquired her from her owner Kennel 27. FBTK was patient with her and allowed the pup to mature. When mature he started her classes proper and was more than impressed with what he saw. She never showed any bad signs again and he gave her a shot in the proving ground, the box. She proved to be a killer and won in impressive fashion, ending it early in her first two. She sat open for a very long time with no takers for her third but after a very long lay off someone stepped up. Her previous owner. He had been proving to be a top competitor and was kicking ass big time. But his former charge, Miss Barracuda proved in a long hard one, that she can take what she gives and proved to be a game Killer.
She was bred to some good males like Ch Astro 4xw 1xgl, AK POR 2xw 1xgl, Ch Recoil Buck ROM, and inbetweeners these breedings with dogs like Ragnarok, Quantum Buck 1xl (a son of Recoil Buck), Crosby 1xw 1xl among other,. She never dropped big litters but from those litters came dogs like Ch Miss Barracuda II 3xw, Black Barracuda 2xw, Latin Force 1xw, Ch Miss Ak 3xw, Mr Akuda 1xw (RIP), Moulon Rouge 1xw, GrCh Enchantress 5xw, Clamp 1xw, etc.
She was also bred to her son Recoil Buck II. Theres some dogs out there now of age off her and hopefully they will also get a chance to go to the proving grounds. Not only has her kids done well but her grand kids are also doing it in the box. One recent champ off her daughter Latin Force is Ch Wreckit Buck 3xw. Black Barracuda has put good ones on the ground as well.
Miss Barracuda seems to be prepotent in that most have reported that her kids show similar box traits and styles to what she was known for.
I honestly believe that in future we will speak of Miss Barracuda dogs in Southern Africa just like we read about the famous producers having strains called after them throughout written history.
This is merely my opinion on a little known bitch that I feel will impact the game locally.
