How many champions obtained their championship by beating only champions?

I dont think that is possible. Dont you have to be a champion to be entered in champion of champions.

I didn't mean conformation. I was reading Rocca's book Fighting for life and he mentioned that one apbt beat 3 champions to obtain his championship, therefore becoming a champion of champions as Rocca put it. I was wondering if what the name of the apbt he was refering to since I can't find it in the book again, and also if there were any more that duplicated it.

...GR. CH. "Art" usually produced game dogs, but his most talented son may have been E. Torres' CH. "Luke" (out of "Fanny") that earned his Championship by defeating all Champions, which makes him one of the few Champion of Champions.

Golden King's CH Silver 4xW 1xGL is the only dog in the world to beat 3 GR Champions and one Champion, he beat GR CH JOCKER 5xW, GR CH Black Mup 5xW, CH Bony 4xW and GR CH SHEYN 5xW.

silver died few weeks ago and
    he was pure sorrels.

  17. Thank you Doggy!

Oh, he is still alive? Good to hear that. I am into the 20-25 kgs (show weight) dogs. Some people say they are hard to handle but I have handle my dog out situations with ease. I must be the adrenaline or something.......those damn accidents do that to a person I guess....lol

Well, I was not too impressed with the beginning of his career but noticed improvement after each show. I will have to say that the hunt against the Archie hog went about 30-45 mins too long.

Could you tell me how Hos won this show? From what I hear ;) Hos was riding and dominating and then suddendly Dendy was raised the victor? Was there some specific modification to the rules?

Regarding Wham Jr., does he usually work at a higher weight? According to someone else he looked very dehidrated and skinny. Basically seemed like he was forced to make weight (notice hip bones and bold spot on behind).

    Regards,

    RH

  18. On a separate note, I have noticed several game dogs over there have their tails cut......Is there a reason for this? It was not just one that I noticed, I have seen several red dogs with different degrees of dock tails (i.e.Ch King). Could explain this?

i asked to owner and breeder of ch king mr Pera and said me:

I CUT TAIL BECAUSE I WANT TO BE DEFERENT OF THE REST OF PEOPLE WHO DO SAME AS I.THAT IS MY SIGNATURE AND EVERYBODY KNOWN THAT ARE THISE DOGS MINE, AND WNEN THERE ARE THE BEST IN FIGHT AND WHEN THEY NOT, BECAUSE EVERYBODY WOOD SALES THERE ON DOGS SAYS THAT THESE DOGS OR MINE LINES.

he says it was his signature.
but not only for signature i think forexample for weight.
you know that weight is very important.
and my friend said me and i think that can be true.
if a dog afraid of its opponent how a dog shows this?
from his tail and if its opponent understand and feel this it will be more brave and maybe taily dog lose.
    sorry for my poor.

  20. thank you for inquiring for me. Yes, I have seen many of European dogs with different degrees of dock tails. I understand Señor Pera's explanation but a tatoo of sort would have accomplish the same.

In regards to your opinion about tucking tail to signal being afraid....well, our dogs usually do not seek for these types of signs. They, by their out-of-norm breeding, do not show or look for submissive behavior. This is not to say that some may retain such instincts but the norm is against this. If your thought was correct, a dog would automatically stop attacking every time the challenger hog cried, etc.

I appreciate your input and look forward to our next communication.

    Yours in print,

    RH
