Colby’s Sam not Rampage

I don’t want to type a book here, but I’m needing help figuring something out. In 2003 I met an old couple that raised ofrn and Colby dogs just across the border in the western most part of VA.

Skip ahead skip ahead 14 yrs or so and I bought a pup that I believed was from their program. They had both passed on and A nephew of the wife had purchased the place and an elderly guy himself at that point was still (at least as far as I could tell) carrying out what they had done for all those years.

So, they never registered a dog with any formal registry. They did however keep their own records and I beleived and still do they were accurate and honestly represented.

the part I am struggling with is in my pedigree I have Colbys Sam down to Colby’s Lotty then things go awry. I’m sure not every dog whelped is recorded, but basically my dogs ped shows a bitch off Lotty being bred to a male off of Walkers lil Hornet. Which would have been a grandson or maybe a great grandson to Jocko.

Does anyone know anything about these dogs, and what offspring attributed to Colby’s Sam were actually off Rampage? Also, does the timeline work? Seems to me things don’t line up quite right but I’m not exactly sure when these dogs were whelped and how long they lived.
I’m considering purchasing another female that would be similarly bred but now the blood of these dogs is being managed by the nephews grandson. I have no reason not to trust anything but things do have a tendency to go in different directions as generations come and go.

Including her personal hand pic bitch "Townsend's Raven Oden" that I had the honor to own A accidental breeding put down Bulldog's who I actually called Scott to give him a pup i promised to Stacia. He said at that time he was unable to get it. 2014 So I sold a pair to John R.Colby, also John C., gave a Male to Bobby S.
