Tested positive for it today … feel like ive been kicked all over the place ! Sore throat , splitting headache … ive had both jabs but never bothered getting the booster jab , never get a flu jab either

 

paracetamol and ibuprofin mate,all you can do.so much for these vaccines though,i know loads who never had it in the first waves,and then got it after being double vaccinated and boostered.

Get better! Hope everyone stays safe. Philadelphia just put their mask mandate back in place. Uptick of the new B2 strain or whatever they are calling it these days. Either way stay hydrated and get tons of rest.

I know this post is old, but yes: According to the Communist Manifesto, economies go through stages. Capitalism creates the necessary conditions that finally result in Communism.

Of course we know this is BS. The best economies are a blend between government control and pure free markets. The question is how much. I believe that the best blend is about 75-80% pure free market and 20-25% government control. You need government for things like the military and LE. Modern Democrats are really socialists, they want much much more government control, as much as 65%. Conservatives want 80% plus free markets.

These are just general numbers I am throwing out there to give you an idea. There is a good lecture I used to do (actually I stole it from a professor who was smarter than me) why heavy state control economies do not work. In terms of race, socialists think government should do more for black people, whereas free market people believe it should be pure competition.

 

yes. We can prove, almost mathematically, that government controlled economies simply do not work. Nothing....I mean nothing, can replace the invisible hand of the free market. I use to use a lecture from an Econ prof that laid this out really, really well. And socialism won't work much anymore in Scandinavian countries either, for reasons that go beyond this post. If your tax dollars are going to blond haired blue eyed people that's one thing, but with the influx of immigrants....not gonna sustain itself. Plus, these countries are artificially propped up by their old wealth.

Socialism will NEVER work kn America. We do need some government control (military, LE..maybe medicine) but you must have primarily free markets. Our founding fathers knew this...they were REALLY fucking smart!

You should look back at how this country was made as in the History. IT was gruesome alot of times.Sometimes it takes the same things to preserve things for the way they should be.

There is an old, but absolutely true saying: Liberties and freedoms are extremely hard to win: It usually requires a great deal of bloodshed. On the other hand, they are extremely easy to lose. Modern people, especially most politicians do not understand this fact.

 

Well I tested positive this morning for the covid .I'm unvaxxed and feeling fine.My worse day was yesterday and it got me pretty good for about 11 hrs and now I feel just fine.Even cut my grass this morning.
