Had some of the best in europe, I wonder how his dogs would have fared against the Yanks.

He docked the tails of his dogs, can't see why you would want to do that tbh.

 

I'd say it was either to be able to know a dog that came from his yard by sight or to make the dog a lb or 2 lighter in it's weight. My guess would be to recognise a dog from his yard. Jm2c.

 

I'd say the latter tbh, I should imagine it's not good for the balance of a dog.

 

Pera is a great guy, fair entertainer. He had many good ones and still has good ones, he stays very active.

 

should be to avoid blows of the tails in the kennels, bloodied tails, walls full of blood.
Very happy dogs banging on kennel walls with their tail.
I met a dogman who did it for that.
