In the small pickup I drove to the woods where 20 mostly Bullyson bred dogs were kept.
A big bowl of fresh water bag of dry food in the cargo bed and some parvo vaccinations for the pups in my striped dungarees.
Was warned to stay out for eight hours due to early darkness. No problem I thought. Everything was going well and I was almost done taking care of the dogs until I arrived at a puppy bred by Fat Bill, he was as wild and bouncy as a puppy can be. He had to be vaccinated, he was number three and last to go.
His twisting caused me to poke myself in the finger, but eventually I succeeded. The moment I realized it was getting dark I felt pain and a kind of stabbing from all sides. I was in the middle of a nest of red ants crawling all over my body. That silly pup thought my cries of panic and pain were hilarious and jumped up on me over and over. All I had to do was jump on the dog house to get completely naked, throw off all my clothes, and get the ants off my body.... Barely naked, I ran with my clothes on to the pick-up truck with my clothes over my arm in the now pitch-black woods, barked at by the dogs. And so you have experienced things that you laugh about now but not then.

    Funny.

There are some things in our eco-systems that I can never really understand their purpose. I am sure they eat something so something can eat them but just never seen the point of fire ants. LOL

Same with gadflies chasing you in the field with your dog at work. Or that you are pissing and a wasp stings your buttock. Or a wasp stings you in the throat while driving.
Or besieged by a killer bee at Bobby Smith's son's trailer. It's not that hard to be afraid of, and hated by, these kinds of stinging and biting insects.

    Haha enjoyed this one..

I’ll never forget lifting the tarp off my compost pile and something popped me in the lip pretty good. I looked around for what had just hit me when a swarm of yellow jackets descended on me. I usain bolted outta there in a hurry but not before I took another 12 hits lol little bastards got my respect that day.
