Drooling In His Sleep

    Drooling In His Sleep ??????

    Here it is.... When me and loki go to bed he drools really bad in his sleep and i dont mean like a lil dribble i mean like he wakes up and moves cuz there is a puddle under his head its bad and it only happens when he sleeps. What in the world is causing this it started yesterday. He seems fine in every other aspects eats and drinks like his usual vacum cleaner self but the drooling is rediculous in his sleep he soaked through my comforter to my boxers last night. thats absurd.... HELP what would make him do this?

    Maybe he's dreaming aboout something that makes him salivate, I don't know. When China eats something she really likes, she drools heavily.

    me neither but its all night long he leaves big ole puddles and hes not that big lol. its the second night in a row hes been doing this. hes not prone to slobbering after he eats or waiting for food just in his sleep.

    yeah hes cuttin into his big teeth. PLEASE tell me this all it is and hell grow out of it. IS there a way to stop it sooon lol.

    If he is growing and all of his teeth arent in, and the jaw is a little out of line they will drool.

    ive seen dogs drool lol yall wouldnt believe this lol i think if he slept on his back he would drown. lmao mia is probly right i didnt think about it till she said it he is cutting his adult teeth right now and his mouth is kinda sore im going to try to get him something cold to chew on tonight mayeb a frozen rag.

    It could be because of the teething. Some dogs just drool. Is he a teeth grinder when he's asleep? Do you ever see him working his jaw at all while asleep? Some dogs will do these things & will drool because of it. If it started pretty suddenly then I would just give it some time. But otherwise, get one of those plastic leak protector's for your matress.:D

    By the way, I just wanted to let you know how happy I am that Loki, aka Axel to me, found you. You're just the home we wanted him to have. What a spoiled lil mutt. :)
