no, you either believed him or you didnt. either way the frisco dogs from ai were different from the natural bred ones.

Just on a side note.....coat color inheritance in dogs does not follow the simple cut and dry mendelian genetic rules we learned in high school biology.....yes...certain colors should not produce other colors,...but if we look and think there are very few dogs that are actually one solid color...I've never had one,...don't think I've ever met one. These aren't crinkly pees we're talking about,.....they're dogs. It is more accurate to speak of color combinations and percentages than "color" in a way. There are plenty of dogs that express both dominant and recessive colors in the same coat.....so, even if you have a blk blk dog if he has five white hairs around his rectum that you never even see,.....the "white genes" are there somewhere....and with the heavy inbreeding common in some lines,....weird shit can and does happen. Looking at the line in question,...there are plenty of "blk dogs" with big ole white chests, tail tips, feet, stars,...etc. With that in mind,....you know. However, it would be fairer to note that the doubt in this particular case being discussed has other contributing factors...and well, since no one is willing or able to DNA all dogs going back to Earl Jr. in order to find the truth or parentage of all,.....we have no choice but to accept Casper as a genetic fluke (though a highly unlikely one).....and leave it at that.....or not.

As far as black redboy dogs go.......lets just say that I wish that there was more agreement on coat color, photos, and a space for nose leather as well. After all, every red-coated dog isn't truly "red" as I understand it. All the "chocolate" noses out there in the "red" lines are telling you something about what's behind.

Anyway,.......if there is a day I when I wish I didn't lend out my coat color inheritace book.....and never get it back....this is it.

To be honest, I, and I'm sure others, have been wondering why there is a specific start date on the DNA offer. Now, I'm not trying to turn this into a TG thread, but the whole DNA offer, though a positive step, is way too little and comes way too late to answer any of the relevent questions that have floated for many many years concerning the veracity of his peds. The deed is done,...so to speak. Acting like the dogs he has on offer now are the starting points and everything behind is true and accurate really only works on folks who want one of his dogs anyway and are willing to close their ears and eyes. DNA will only tell you who a dog's daddy is.....and if you've been carrying out what now seems to be a hypocritical bullshit slander campaign against the ADBA explaining why you refuse to DNA.......you never will truly know who the dog's grand-daddies are.....will you? Why now? Why isn't anyone with a living dog who is willing to pay a fee able to get the same peace of mind at any time? After all, it isn't like he's going to have to profile the sire and dam every time someone requests a test. The way I see it, questions die off, and all you really need is six months to get your house in order before acting like you're doing folks a favor.
It's bull,.....those who suspect why he's being forced to do it know it.

Casper produced some good dogs, I'm not sure many on here are as big a geneticist experts as they think. Hitchhiker made the most sense in his post honestly.

There is no such thing as a pure RedBoy dog, even tightly inbred RedBoy is going to have an influence of other blood.

I had a long assed reply typed out,...but it doesn't matter. All I'm going to say is that this last Sunday I was at the home of a long-time (40 years plus) dog/horse/sheep/pig/cat breeder. We were discussing "tight" peds and I showed her TG's site and Frankie's ped and said what a good looking dog he was. She had the exact,....exact...same comments you did.

Disclaimer....admittedly, a so-so pic on a laptop does not equal a hands on examination and comparison of a dog and its parents....for all I know, the dog may limp like a 70's pimp, may have two teeth in his head, had his extra tails docked, or be missing the whole side not facing the camera, so he may be inbred ugly on the side not facing the camera......also, my friend is not an APBT person....but she knows her dogs.....however, it just surprised me to hear/see the same sentiments expressed by different folks on seeing the same pic and same ped....that's all. No shit starting intended.

its because folks aint hunting hogs that breeders can fly kites with folks money.

if you are a dog for a hog your damn sure your gonna make sure that s.o.b performs to the best of his ability. if your gunna parade him round and round then breed his cur ass off wassit matter!

if you have a hunter that keen on hogs then bring your money to the woods and see which hog bring home the bacon!

i only breed to an ace cos im hunting hogs and aint got money to lose. And if folks want some of my sweat.....they got a 50/50 chance of getting a neighbours runt....cos i aint selling but culling.

i was simply trying to make a logical explanation of why that all white ch casper came out like that. the plain simple fact is that no one knows 100% sure. i will accept the SDJ over just a random persons word. without dna and a 100% certainty of exactlly how it was breed you still cant count the SDJ's word as the gospel. i was trying to make some type of sence out of it. im not going to lie the very 1st time i seen that caspers pedigree i was said WTF, but i did give it a benefit of the doubt becasue i was not there to see the dogs tie up and neither were most. as far as you saying im a peddler you have no idea of what you are saying. i never said anything about breeding a damn dog in this whole damn thread and have never even said not one thing about breeding a dog in my entire time of being on this website lol. your jumping the gun man trying to look for a argument. and what clue dont i have? you dont have a clue and neither do the people talking right now of how this dog was actually bred on a 100% note. its all gossip as far as i can see. HIGHCOASTHIKER has made alot of sense on the breeding of the damn dog if you dont know by dna then you just dont know for a guarantee and the rest is talk. i will say again i dont have the line myself but im not going to shit on it just for the hell of it when everything being said is based on speculations.

oh hahaha . "Back peddling" i havent used that word since i was 12. you have to watch how you use them PEDDLING words around here lol. if it seemed like i back peddled on my statements maybe i just got tired of arguing. its all gossip as far as im concerned that cant be proven to be true. like i said i dont own the line but im not going to shit on it either just because of what some say. am i going to go out my way to get some uhmmm? its all talk and w/out dna its just talk.

Well in all fairness you didn't know the whole ordeal about the SDJ and them not allowing the breeder's of CH Casper to advertise after the validity of that breeding was questioned I didn't know the story either until Mirage has shared that info. I saw your point in trying to explain why those 2 dog's could have produced an all white dog Genetic's are tricky and nothing is all black and white when it comes to Genetics. I just figured I would point it out that he didn't call you a peddler LOL.

  16. if the all white casper's ped is right(which is suspect). then the only explanation for it would be the molly bitch in her ped. the bottom of that ped is an alligator cross. tg's version of the earl dogs doesnt contain that out.

. I've seen more than a dozen alligator to primarily alligator litters up close and only saw one white dog that was about 95% white with some chocolate, then some chocolate with some white, black/white, and black. This yard outed twice and ended up back to basicly black. Just saying.

  20. If they come black with white on their cheast or feet, then why cant they come white? Wouldnt the white chest or feet signal white genes coming in from somewhere? I mean im only asking because it seems that way to me considering the breed wasnt bred for color? A genetic throw back perhaps? Again only asking a ???

Bluebeard, fine looking animal and in excellent shape in those photos. All the best fellas.
