    What fucks me up is all these people who who have to get their picture taken with Floyd, yet these same people won't step up to help him out. They want to ask why should we donate, why don't he sell some dogs, his kid is selling this and that- you don't know what his wallet looks like, the man has bills etc. They may be selling dogs, doghouses or whatever, but they could just be scraping by. Just because the man sells some dogs doesn't mean he's got money flowing like a pimp with a fleet of hoes. Floyd is a legend, he's a damn good guy and deserves some help from the game dog community.

    My buddy just drove 14 hours and paid $$$$ for a puppy. While he was there two other pups sold. He was told the other two in the litter had deposits.

    I feel like I am blessed and have no problem helping others. I donated. But at the same time I have to wonder where the money goes. I give with a clear heart and if the money is not doing what I felt like I donated to, then that is on someone else.

    I think if the approach was here is an old guy who did a lot is in need of help things would go over better. The first thing people think of is that the guy has sold a lot of dogs for a lot of money. They are still selling dogs for a lot of money.

    I would refrain from using the phrase 'deserves help from the game dog community'.

    Just a thought.

    I'm with slim on this. Truthfully nobody down on their luck " deserves" more than the next one doing bad. There folks still going to food banks because last year devastated them financially. I appreciate floyd and also appreciate the single parents doing everything they can just to feed their kids.

    I just wished photos in books were colors.
    All black in white.

    Coming from reading Darcy books bout hunting terriers to reading this , quality is really substandard.

    I like the content but not how photos were printed .

    At least you got a few articles written by bob fritz in the agdt. They are the best information in the whole collection. He didn't do much writing in to the magazines but when he did was a wealth of knowledge. He was vinny's partner and condition chinaman for the USC study on k9 performance.
