Well ok let's just sit back and do nothing. Maybe the next person to be shot by cops for nothing will be from your family, maybe then you will think some sort of action is appropriate.

 

Yes. Look at the statistics of American born blacks & whites vs foreign born blacks. If it were simply an issue of race, the stats would not pan out like they do.

 

Well obviously if that happened my first course of action would be to destroy and loot businesses that had nothing to do with the incident...

 

it shouldn't be rioting but it should be protect across the country like i has been happening . you won't get anywhere with a riot and you harming someone that has nothing to do with what happen .

 

So if this is a black cop.......or white victim............same rioting? This is all about race relations.

 

Eh....I dunno. In general, I would say it's more of a socioeconomical problem. Riots, looting, crime, etc...tend to happen more in low income areas. Minorities tend to be the majority in these areas. But, the actions are not necessarily connected to race. Ferguson, MO has a higher crime rate than the US average.

 

All I'm saying is that I'm a white dude and I've had the police beat me up more than once. I DO NOT trust the police and lets not act like unarmed white people don't get killed also. I think anyone set out on the streets to patrol need's to be properly trained and mental stability needs examining.

..whats going happen when some rioter's start wrecking your/a shop ya/someone, took years to build up...and rioter gets shot cause you would defend your property with a gun if needed....yes/no...???..............no matter what this young guy done he did not deserve to be shot like that....it stinks ok....

 

..some truth in this,,it..make's ya think would the same rioting be going on...or maybe the the area where this happened has a higher black community..?????...but there was people of all colors rioting from what ya can see...??????????

 

Same thing every time with riots. People have a legit beef over the misdeeds of the "authorities", someone gets the bright idea to throw a rock at the cops, all hell breaks loose, and people of low character use the chaos as an excuse to steal shit.

The riots are BS. The outrage is fully justified, as this type of shit is happening more and more often (or we're being allowed to see it more often, anyway), and the usual outcome is the cop gets off scot free. I don't know how to solve this, but I know if my son were murdered and the guy that did it got away with it just for being a cop I would take it out on him, and damn the consequences.


I also think that part of the problem is that being a cop these days is thought of more as a "career" than a "calling". People used to be a cop because they came from a family of cops and thought it was the right thing to do and a way to help their neighborhood. Now you need a damn bachelor's degree and can end up making $100,000 a year and up with overtime. This means that we're getting a lot of pussies signing up to be cops. Guys shooting dogs and shit because they're scared. I carried a pistol while I delivered pizza, and ran across a lot of pissed off dogs, but I never even thought about shooting one.


Cops need to man up and quit shooting their way out of every perceived problem.

...SHIT...in my day cop's had to be over a certain height/etc....and if ya got caught doing something not to serious ya got a slap in the ear,,i know i'm older,now but if some of the cop's to-day tried to arrest me i'd laugh at them...some of them are tiny/etc..they let any-body join now...for all we know that cop probally had an arguement with his miss's/etc..and take's it out on the public...there going to have to charge this guy...or it going get worse..it's hit the news all over the world....wait and see..?????????????????

 

My point, I'm not saying we should burn businesses, I'm saying direct the anger toward the appropriate places.
