What benefit to humans does garlic have? I used to know, but I have forgotten. My fiance thinks I eat too much garlic, but I'd like to know the benefits so he will know!

    Thanks!

garlic is renowned for it's effects on the heart. it is also good for lowering cholesterol. and it has analgesic properties, meaning it helps fight infections and the like.

  3. True....Garlic is also a great natural anti-oxident and helps repel airbourne insects. This is especially helpful in humid climates during the summer/fall times

and garlic is EXCELLENT to fight off skin funguses and the like. Wrestlers, BJJ'ers and Judo guys all use garlic to keep away and/or fight off ringworm and empatiago
