I just want to get a dog from a good dogman. Yes TG has made his mark on the breed but now all he does is exploit the dogs at their expense for his own personal gain. I can't respect anyone who breeds that many dogs especially with the state the dogs are in now. I agree, his property so he can do what he wants but one mans pockets aren't more important than the entire breed. He will tell you anything to make a sale and that's a good enough reason for me not to want one of his dogs. Not saying the quality isn't there, but I rather get my dogs from someone breeding to improve their yard than someone breeding strictly for financial gain!

 

Another great post on the subject. Exploit the dogs is the way anyone with half a brain sees this. Well, that is my opinion anyway.

yes. compare TG to other breeders his dogs represents the real apbt regarding of what bloodline he gives u I'm pretty sure his selling a 100% bulldog. Just let old guy do what he wants, plus if ur a newbie and have money it is safe to buy from him. atleast ur sure ur getting a real gamebred regardless what really bloodline the dog have. but if ur not comfortable dealing with him just find other breeder, I'm pretty sure there are lots of good breeders out there. what we NEED is LESS bulldogs. If 9 outta 10 idiots on every street didnt have one we wouldnt have all the issues we have. Not only does he put a significant number of dogs out but he doesn't care who he gives a dog to. Any moron with money, and what on earth makes you think he's the only one producing good dogs? Because he advertises it? Because that where people who cant get dogs from real dogmen go? Instead of being patient and paying their dues people just throw money at peddlers, thats one of many reason the game is in the state its in. And if you arent aware the state its in could be described as "FUCKED UP"! Thats just my opinion tho, i rather see less bulldogs, less bsl, less dog bust, i could go on forever about what i'd like to see more of. Sometimes less is more....

I agree with you 1000%, I wish there where less bull dogs. But you are in a dream world if you think that if TG stopped breeding, that even 1 less dog would be bred.
The few hundred dogs he produces a year is almost nothing compared to what is being born. And from what I understand, a large portion of his dogs are shipped overseas anyways. So most likely what would fill the void if he did stop, would be more BYB's! Is that better? More rank curs, and half breed bully's. The only way that there will be less bull dogs is if the demand slows down. This is a world of "supply and demand!" If the demand is there, so will be the supply.

 

Isn't TG the man who Supplies BYB's with their brood stock?

If he stopped I know it wouldn't change much, but I don't respect any of the people who breed solely for money. 20 years ago I'd say go for it if that's your thing but its not the time for it now. He just happened to be one of many examples of a peddler and the thread just happened to be about him.

 

I feel were u are coming from dp but u can't be mad at tg...he built the frisco line and it's in demand!...when u build a line like tg has built u are suppose to sit bacc reap the benefits from it!!..he is not the only person selling a large amount of dogs!!..AW sold alot of tab dogs, fb sold alot of his dogs, jc sold alot of sixbits dogs and the list goes on!..those dudes produced Qaulity animals even thou they peddled them!..their hard work paid off that's why they were able to do that!!...once u have come to a certain point in ur life it's time to retire and make money off ur stock!!..tg is a smart dude!!..u can call me a puppy peddler all u want but if I was in his shoes I would sell my stock just like he is!!...let me get a line and everybody want my shit!!..Uhhhhh I'm sellin it to them!!...if u can make half a million to a million a year sellin dogs u mean to tell me u wouldn't do it???...ha!!...I'm gone!!..call me watever u like I wouldn't give a damn!!..u only live once!!..reap the benefits off ur hounds if u can!...plus, the hounds deserve it from the work they have put in to get u to that point!!...who in they right mind will turn down a lottery ticket???...tg hit the lottery wit frisco!!

That's the problem, people put money over the game. People have snitched on, cheated and everything else over greed. If they are in so much demand have less litters and charge more money. They would be more rare, less dogs and still lots of money. I already said this isn't personal against tg, just a terrible time for people to be peddling dogs to people who probably shouldn't have them anyways. I don't care what someone does with their property until it starts to affect me. Now every idiots who learns game-dogs exist goes and buys 2 garner pups and starts a "kennel". Perfect...

 

People always wanna go back to Mayfield did this and Carver did that. It makes no sense to compare what they did to what someone is doing in 2K11, its completely different circumstances! Is it ok to sell you a dog from the pound with fake papers bc hall used to do it? That's the lamest excuse to peddle EVER! And I also stated that 20 years ago I'd say go for it but we need to slow it down and try to fix the bsl shit, not add to the problem.
