well i think the lady asked how old the pup was . is it 10 months ? i think you said something like that . i got 2 big ass males from little dogs . they ain't 60 lbs but i bet they are 45+ . i know the breeding 5 generations back . they were small dogs to . sometimes you get a big freak and you never know why . i do take for t/g but you don't know that they are out of different dogs unless you were there or do a dna test .

 

after thinking about it and telling you to strip the cable 5-6 inches there you may want to customize it and only remove the cable at the points were the clamps go directlly instaed of removing the whole thing. the plastic will still be on the area exposed to the bullsnap. that is were the ware and tear and rust shows up so the plastic just might stop that from happening at that point. it think it rusts there more because of the oils on our hands and the oils on the dogs coat. that might be better to do and im thinking of redoing mine now after writting that lol... ok then thats it for me on that have a good one.

Oh believe me it's not going anywhere... she is on this cable for about 5 minutes tops while I'm doing some yard work..that's it. also fenced in and never alone outdoors.

is this the dog your talking about? he was 14 or 15 months at 54lbs in this pic. he won best male in this pic here. talk about a good mutt! just give your dog time to develop, you have been trashing you dog on this whole thread. if you wanted a gauranteed smaller dog you should have went with dynomite or that heavy spike stuff and stayed away from the hammonds. just tell people you have a reincarnated Alligator dog lol. he looks good to me just start working him and develope what you have.

 

I think that may be part of the issue. I'm not downing TG, and I wasn't there for the conversations between these guys,...but precisely what you said is what he should have heard from TG when they were discussing the size issue. And let's put it this way,....it isn't the first time that I, and I'm sure others, have heard from folks who went to TG looking for one thing, that got told "yeah yeah....that's just what you want.....plus it shits gold," only to be pissed the hell off a few months later when it doesn't turn out that way. Again, my disclaimer, I've never had a problem with TG,....but, knowing what I know one has to admit that there is a certain over-sell bullshit factor when dealing with certain breeders,....some people take their own word and other peoples' seriously,...plus I know the shit and expense you've got to go through to get dogs certain places,...so I see where this cat is coming from.

wow never heard of tom claiming the dog was a goose and would shit gold. but why go to a breeder if you dont know what you want? you go to a certain breeder when you do know what you want. and if every dog was an ace everybody would be pleased with everything. point is do the research find whos got what you want and pursue it. but keep in mind that your not going to get a gr ch every time you get a pup no matter what you want to think. tg nevers calls people and tells them to come buy his dogs nor does he promise every dog is going to be perfect. this is the dog world not walmart dogs dont come with a 30 money back guarantee.

Hey, I know what you mean about doing one's research etc, I agree,...and it seems that part of my post didn't get through for some reason....I also think you know what I mean when I said what I said. I'm not saying he took or misinformed anybody,....but please let's not even have a suggestion of Saint Thomas of the Hill bullshit either. TG is a businessman,...plain and simple. If not telling you what you don't want to hear furthers his business plans,.....don't expect to hear it. This is part of the complaint people have with TG and why they call him a peddler. A whole lot of people out there breeding dogs,...the ones I respect the most are those who will look at a situation and say,.....hey, this pup/breeding may not be right for what you're looking for,....even if it costs them a sale. With some folks, all breedings are all things to almost all people....as long as the money's right. I'm not making any moral judgements on that,....but it is what it is,...and the results are often like what we're hearing about here. Let me be perfectly blunt, I have nothing personal, professional or otherwise against TG,...however knowing what I know,....I would be silly to go taking his word on shit...just because.....you can definitely get a good bulldog from him,.....but, know who you're dealing with.
