Gr Ch Hansons's Red Man (14xw?)

Anyone know anything about this dog and his match record?

in my opinion those 14,16x dogs are not true winners or had a very,very easy campain or his owner put his rolls on the record.

 

Could be true. But you never know... Does anyone know of any dogs that won more than 10 contracted shows that was reported to a respected source... And there are different levels of competition so its possible that a few wins could come from the lower levels before you realize what caliber dog you have and are let into a more proffesional competition level... Just my opinion...

 

Well its not like there are farm league programs or "were" I guess I should say. Sometimes peoples ege gets the best of them and go into a show not even realizing what they are getting into.
Most testing and schooling is done in their own yards, against their own stock. That is good and fine if you have high quality stock, but tossin a cur into a cur and calling one a winner when against a real dogmans stock you might get handled easily.
Look at dogs like Chinaman who never realy had to go the distance because they were so devistating. Some of the competition he went into was supposidly multiple winner dogs also. Makes you wonder what kids of dogs they went into and so on..........

JW owned Redman when he was a nine time winner. He fought his last three fights with no testicles. He had lost them in his sixth fight. I use to have a business card with Red Man's photo on it. I tried to find it but couldn't. It is funny how stories get told and it gets bigger and bigger as it goes along. JW told me he was a 9 time winner but you can read something different all over the web including on Pedigree's online. Believe what you want to. Your going to anyway. Randy Fox

I keep hearing about the differences between those two, (frisco, no frisco) never seen one w/o frisco personally. What are the differences??

 

That's why I wanted one, to see the differences myself

 

The rolls are being counted and added to their record...that's very common with dogs over the 10 mark. But I did read somewhere long time ago that Red Man had at least 5 contracted matches against some champion dogs. So he could be at least a gr ch.

 

I know these are old threads; not sure why ppl don't participate in the conversations anymore. Just out of curiosity, I'm trying to find out who this breeder/dogman 'HANSON' was. His name will pop up randomly on varies pedigrees with some pretty solid bulldogs, mostly deriving from the OFRN strain. Anyone have any info on him? Can't find anything online. Thx
