Zebo was a great dog no one is disputing that. As a box dog. As a animal around people, he wasn't trusted and that's just facts.

I was reading a old pit bull news (#4 1987) from U.K. just the other day and there was a match dog off Zebo blood in it that was put down because he was a unpredictable man biter. A unwanted trait that Zebo past on unfortunately. Dogs name was St. Benedict's ''Count Baise"(Zebo x Snake cross)

Unpredictable man eating pit bull terriers are good for nothing,, that type of dogs are dangerous and are responsible for headlines in the newspapers, one of the reasons responsible of the downfall of a great breed of dogs.
It is againt the standard and don't belong or must be wanted in the breed.
A dog as Zebo was culled on many a yard, no matter how good he was, in fact he'd to be culled directly after biting the kid, no dog is worth that misery.
It is all IMO as I have zero tolerance for dogs who are not to trust around people.

Missing the part about how they eventually went into tant with mayday and tant had what they called a dead game dog that night. Tant asked for a scratch to continue and his dog flew over to mayday(after they thought he was long gone) and when he asked for another they told him "you'll have to pick that dead game dog up or let him die". Tant picked up

I concur as well. Since all of my dogs will be around strangers I cannot tolerate unprovoked human biters. If a dog of mine went after a human without provocation it'd end up with a bullet in its ear. It only takes one bite on a human for global media, especially NBC affiliates, to throw a shit fit. I haven't owned even one man-biter and I'd never tolerate one.

I think it's more all these "docile petbulls" certain members claim are apbt or Bulldogs are far more responsible than real bred and true apbt/Bulldogs.... dogs frolicking together but are "bulldogs/apbt" or these blue "Bulldogs" in movies are what's wrecking the breed. Not the handful of proven bluddpgs who will excite bite/hit a stranger/defend its owner... I've been chased out of a chain spot on tdks yard by a bitch(I'm 1 of many)... shes never bit a kid or who fed her(I was new and once she knew me she ran to greet me daily)

I personally love a dog that is unstealable..... walk in the woods at night trying to take something and get your stupid ass bit.... but a dog I cant send my immediate family they know out to feed and rake fuck em....

Side note on that bitch I was the only person she ran to meet. She avoided you or tried to nab you..... shed roll on her back and let me pet her belly. First time she ran to greet me I hauled ass into the next spot lol someone else pointed out she actually came out to see me not kill me

The first pic with the two chains hooked to him is a pic with him on a carpet mill. He is a bit younger and I think this is just before #3 or #4.

He was so intense and so straight forward they went with a 'power' type keep. The combination of strength and speed.

The carpet mill they used was a lot free-er than most but not as free as a slat mill.

The type of mill and the method of using that type of mill hits close to home.

    Big fan.

Far as I was aware, none of Lonzo Pratt's dogs could really be trusted around strangers or people who wasn't experienced round bulldogs, IMO it wasn't that kind of yard.. When I bought Lonzo's Spider (zebo's granddaughter) I remember asking what her temperament was like? Lonzo said "you won't need to worry about anyone stealing your dogs that's for sure!" and lord was he right :-O Spider would wag her tail, roll on her back and act like a fool whenever someone walked up to her chain spot, but the minute they tried to leave, she'd full throttle put holes in them! No child or stranger could be trusted round her ever! We got used to her character, a good/game little female and we liked her a lot..

I remember going out one day with the shotgun to bag some pigeons for dinner, when I passed Spider's chainspot with the gun, she crawled on her belly and slinked back into her kennel, I think that reaction told a story on how Lonzo dealt with his sub standard stock ;) Always wondered if those trait's in Zebo and Spider were also present in other Lonzo descended dogs like the one below?

Know a guy who would cull them on the chain.... for days after the other dogs would hide in their house when he came out to feed.

That's exactly what I thought when I saw it man!.. Can't say I know for sure it's why Spider acted that way since I never discussed that with Lonzo, but I never missed the significance of how she acted, and she did it every time she saw a gun!
