I like to take the time and wish a great man a Happy 90th Birthday... Happy Birthday Mr. Louis Colby. I spoke him(Mr Colby)yesterday and I hope I'm bless to live to see the age of 90 and remember half of the things he can.. Its amazing how he recites the pedigree of dogs and the yrs off the top of his head....it also amazed me that he actually remember when I drove to Massachusettes to pick up a pup and got stuck there in snow storm. Happy Birthday

Happy birthday Mr. Colby, and to all those that say they dont like colby dogs, run differnt lines, look back in your own dogs ped there are few, very few that can say he didnt play apart in the creation of what you have to this day. So as a dog man find the respect to at least say happy birthday if it wasnt for him you could not look out the window and smile at your yard. If you had the chance to thank your ancestors for your excistence whould you. FRI i have never bought a dog from Mr. Colby but have raised many that had it close and if it was not close enough i would ad it for an insurance policy.

Happy Birthday Mr Colby. Wouldnt it be nice to be able to spend a Sunday afternoon talking to this man. A couple of the old timers around here will tell stories about the dogs and birds of years ago. I could listen for as long as they'll talk. Sad that when they're gone the stories will go with them.
