I'm going to a city council meeting this evening in my small town of Lowry Crossing in Collin County. We have a Pit Bull puppy mill two houses down from me. It's a small operation but the 12 or 13 adult dogs are put through hell. He uses a rape chair to breed them. They live in small cages 365 days a year. He cuts the ears himself and they get minimal if any vet attention. Last summer, there was a dead dog in the trash bin on the street for pick up. Many neighbors have complained because of the constant barking and the smell but my concern is for the dogs. I've called the Sheriffs department many times, animal control countless times as well as HSUS. Any advice would be appreciated.

Just a reminder. these folks network hard amoungst themselves and these ppl will recieve a visit from the HSUS and AC. This e-amil had been sitting in my inbox since this afternoon. Can you imagine how many AR folk have looked or took action on this? I would say countless..... Lets try and help these folks by getting the word to them.

 

i hate to say it- but it seems that 9 times out of 10, when things are this bad that a mass email is going out, that there is something amiss-and the dogs are really not in the best of conditions.

May be they shouldn't be heatbags and have 12-13 barking dogs in a neighborhood, and throwing dead dogs in the trash can, there are people who go out of there way to make problems for people with APBT's that being said have some common sense and don't give them countless reasons to get into your business. Then people come on here and act like the people who are fed up with barking dogs, stench, possible poor living conditions are F@#% snitches, figure it out, if im selling weed and i have a wide open grow op in my backyard and someone calls the police on me are they a snitch or am i just a dumb SOB who had it coming...

 

I get what you are saying. But I think this person is stretching the truth to down right lieing . I live in N texas and if a dead dog (pitbull) is reported to be in the trash for the niebors to view it. The HSUS will make a trip out there to investigate, Infact they would have likely asked who was reporting it to them to take photos for them. I smell a little BS behind this. Beleive me when I say this ...I know that there are ppl out there that don't deserve a cockroach. but at the risk of saving a few dogs is not worth the shit storm that could transpire on the local level with BSL. I would much rather give folk the chance to clean thier yard up or move them dogs!

BTW john goodwin was in the area over the weekend for a cock fighting bust. These ppl are not playing and they mean to eraticate... nothing more nothing less.

Someone from inside the US, who knows the relevant Zip Code for the suburb in question, can googlemap a random location, tell her they live in the area and would like to go and take pictures of the address for an investigative journalism piece on animal cruelty - thus getting the address from her.

Reverse lookup the phone number and BAM! ring the guy and get his version of the story, stop by check out his yard setup even.

If he really is a douschebag, let him get whats coming to him, if he ain't - give him a heads up.

Its a nickname given to breeding stands by HSUS people.

Apparently they think that dogs should be bred naturally, even though it can be harmful to both depending on the dogs involved, and even the handler, without use of the appropriate equipment.

Just like break sticks are STRICTLY a piece of dog fighting equipment.

Hell I've even heard them say that every dog that has cropped ears, is used for dog fighting.

I dunno where they come up with this shit...

Man I heard this at a Schutzhund Club in Michigan, I went along to check out a couple GSD's some friends own.

This chick was apparently a newly trained HSUS associate, and started to berrate some guy with a pitbull who was down there coz his dog had cropped ears...

Literally QUOTED from her mouth:

"Cropped ears are a sure sign of dogfighting, we learnt about it in our course."

I didn't even bother arguing with her, she was an airhead with no fucking clue, a shit hyper active fear biter for a dog and she had absolutely no control over the damn thing.

Just made me laugh to be honest - because the APBT that was there, had a BH, SchI and a bunch of other titles under its belt, was perfectly mannered and almost robotic in terms of its ability to follow its handlers commands at all times.
