they are not 'bulldogs' anymore and haven't been for nearly 40 years.
thats what happens when a line is peddled.

    For what? Show dogs?
IMO the working OFRN died out years ago.

20 years ago or so, I use to like a OFRN cross bred by Sarona kennels.
It was a Clouse Staber 4x/ Hemphill Geronimo/ GrCh Art 7x, cross.
And many people on this forum, didn't like the Sarona line of dogs either.

just keep reading and when u come across something that interest you use the search engine on here. dont worry about gettin a dog until you learn and know exactly what you want. u can learn everything about these lines from old threads. People will be more willing to help you if your puttin forth effort to learn all you can on your own.

All these dog's above are real working bulldog's to say the OFRN strain is all but cur's is a sign of ignorance.. If bred right and in the right hand's the OFRN strain is one of the best truest bulldog strain's out there if it wasn't why would such great dog men throughout time take a solid liking to the strain and try and preserve it, some of the best dog men to boot have shared there fondness of the strain and how if bred right throw some of the meanest gamest dog's out.

  16. there not what they used to be not saying thats the rule and if you think other wise you must be ignorant sire

  17. yes the old lightner dogs were infused with ofrn and many other dogs have the ofrn blood to but these dogs have not been culled out and selected as well as many of the old timers had done and red noses are funny acting dogs and i have owned enough to know what the hell im talking about

Also other dog men that run OFRN on there yard that are true working OFRN, such men as B.Shurmard with his "PHASE" dog

Think of the ofrn dogs like colby dogs. MOST have ben ruined. As a WHOLE the line is made of mostly non sporting stock. However there ARE good working ofrn dogs on the yards of some true dogmen. The ofrn dogs bred true to standerd are far and few inbetween. ANYONE who thinks thay know whats in every backyard in america is ignorant.
