Hi from upstate NY.

I made it over here by way of Pit Bull Chat so I probably know some of you, to those I don't I look forward to making your acquaintance. I wanted to learn more about the 'serious' stuff as I hope to in the next year or two purchase an APBT I can do weight pull and conformation with amongst other things so that gives me quite a bit of time to figure out what I'm looking for and learn more about bloodlines, showing and the like.

I currently have a 14 week old (on Monday) APBT (possible mix no papers) named Puck who is the terror, er, joy of my life. I'm training him to be a service dog for myself and hoping to get him his CGC and TDI and maybe do some rally with him.

I've jumped camps from owning working line GSD's, Dobermans and Rottweilers my whole life and think I won't be going back.

Piece of advice Magdalena.... Think a million times before posting something here. Guys here will chew you up then spit you out then chew you again if you say something that for them sounded ridiculous. Never pretend that you know something which you don't to avoid such scenarios. Thanks for the welcomes and the tip! I've been reading a lot here before even getting the nerve up to post an intro trust me. :o

That said I'm not an idiot and am not here to post questions about who has puppies for sale or ask why my pit bull tried to bite another dog or to cry about chain spots being cruel. :p

That said I AM an idiot when it comes to APBT bloodlines/crosses/outcrosses/working ability/history so I'm keeping my mouth shut and just reading the threads and learning.

But I do chew back.
